Believe my grandmother had mentioned that I'd love Payson. When I was looking, I was pretty interested in the Chino, Chino Valley, Prescott area. Close enough that I could head North and get my hiking, camping, etc. itch scratched. Most of my family moved down there (Phoenix area suburbs) in the early 2000's. Grandparents, aunts, cousins, etc. Unfortunately I was married at the time and the wife (now ex) wasn't having any of it.

Haven't actually been to Prescott myself but I've heard great things about the area. That would still be a good option for a more moderate climate with less snow. And again, close enough to both Phoenix and Flagstaff that you could drive down for a day or two easy.

They aren't playing for anything. They gave up fighting for home ice after icing the team they did last night. They don't care at this point. I don't care much either. Playoffs can't come soon ebough.

This absolutely drives me nuts when I am watching on tv... I can't tell you how many times I catch myself watching the moving/changing ads instead of the play and it upsets me.

I loved the way they looked and the fight they had right after Kap got hurt. Then they celebrated the win against the Avs a little too much while in Vegas. Since then, they have coasted....really, really coasted in the wrong direction. It's not what you want with the postseason days away. It's frustrating.

I get it. I generally agree. However, every time they seem to play like hot garbage tailing off the season. Then going into the playoffs, it sure seems like that just bridges to the same crappy play come time for the first round. Just seems like it carries over more often than not.

Yup , being thoroughly destroyed for 9% of the entire season going into the playoffs isn’t anything a winning group would allow to happen. They have looked like a lottery team from the minute they left Colorado. Something happened somehow of somewhere.
