Sounds like Phoenix is the spot for you
I need lakes & trees. Flagstaff might be the place. However, parents verging on "old" and a well paying job kind of have me stuck here for the forseeable future. Arizona has always been a consideration though. I love the Southwest. Love Minnesota...just not December through March.

So.... we've settled on Roooooosi as opposed to Rawsi

Lived in Charlotte for a few years, if you're not a fan of winter but still like green.... it's a perfect place. I missed winter eventually.

Arizona has poisonous snakes though. Uh-uh.

Born and raised here in Minnesota. I feel like I can say with very, very close to 100% certainty, If I never got weather below 40 degrees or saw snow again, I wouldn't miss it in the slightest.

Flagstaff might get more snow than Minnesota though. Payson might be good. It's a lot smaller than Flagstaff or Phoenix but they still have seasons, they get less snow than Flagstaff, and still within a couple hours of both Flagstaff and Phoenix.

Well, NC might not be for you then. Rarely saw snow, but it did get below 40 often. I remember chuckling when local news talked about DEADLY dangerous cold when it got to about 15

This commentary further reinforces the idea that Minnesota really ends at about Cloquet and the rest of the state is just northern Iowa , Easter South Dakota and western Wisconsin.

Florida (barf) is probably what you're looking for.

Believe my grandmother had mentioned that I'd love Payson. When I was looking, I was pretty interested in the Chino, Chino Valley, Prescott area. Close enough that I could head North and get my hiking, camping, etc. itch scratched. Most of my family moved down there (Phoenix area suburbs) in the early 2000's. Grandparents, aunts, cousins, etc. Unfortunately I was married at the time and the wife (now ex) wasn't having any of it.

Let's eat ya ya ya . God, I can't wait for playoffs to start. I can't bother myself to care much about this game

Gets too humid there. And yeah, for what I do for a living, generally the worst I have to deal with in the service terminals are bees, spiders, mice, squirrels and flying squirrels. Can't say I'd be much up for gator / snake foolishness.

I'm late, what did I miss?
20 minutes of poor hockey by your favorite team?
