At least half of our dcore plays like they're borderline replacement-level night in and night out. It doesn't take a genius to see why this team bleeds high-danger chances.

That ENG happens because of a brain dead play by Drouin. No look right to an Islander whose reading that play lol. So stupid. This team wont make the playoffs and if they do the Oilers are going to kill them in the first round.

No goalie will save us. This team lacks attention to details. Like dumb defensive breakdowns. If Mitts wins a faceoff, that last goal doesn’t happen etc….

Scoring Chances 43-24 Avalanche
High Danger Chances 20-10 Avalanche
I hate the result, and the goal NYI scored for their 3rd shows just how much we need a defenseman in the playoffs to help not Manson, but Girard in our own zone and spell his minutes.
However, I'm not THAT upset with how they played. Malinski with a dog shit turnover that hopefully banishes him to the AHL for good for their 2nd goal, too.
One thing I will say: the Avs made life WAY too easy on Sorokin tonight. Too many times it was an unscreened shot from distance that went right into his glove with ease. You've got to get to the net if that's your offensive strategy.
