These pictures sure don't make him look good. At top, his butterfly is way too compressed. It hardly covers the bottom of the net. At bottom, well I would guess he's about 5'11" from that picture. Way too deep.

It just blows my mind someone would embarrass themselves with a comment like that.

I'm not sure if this guy gets drafted this year. Don't get me wrong, I hope he gets picked. I just think he needs a little more work. I think he needs to look at his countryman, Lars Volden. He didn't get picked his first year, but after a year in Finland, gets drafted in the seventh round by the Bruins.

Sixth*

I'm not sure Narmo will be drafted and I don't know anything about him, but with his size a team may use a late rounder on him as a project pick. He'll need to get into a better league though so that scouts can see how he handles himself against strong competition.

Don't know anything about this guy. He is indeed huge, and that's good nowadays. He hasn't represented any of the Norwegian junior national teams though. If he's the best goalie for his age maybe he should have. Just a thought.

He has represented the Norwegian national team in the past.

He has represented the Norwegian national team in the past.

Is that so? I only checked his EP profile, and there weren't any stats from any international duties. That was why I thought he hasn't played for Norway.

With the draft on Friday/Saturday do you guys think he has a decent chance to get drafted?

Also working on a Draft profile/article on him including an interview which should be done tomorrow!

Im surely rooting for him, seems very likeable :P

I'm thinking he'll be drafted and that he'll take the NCAA route. He will be a very long-term project and would really benefit from two years in the USHL and 3 or 4 years of NCAA hockey to improve and learn how to use his size to his advantage. After that a season or two in the ECHL/AHL and the team that selects him will know what they have in him.

I feel like Norway needs to start sending its players to play in the CHL. I'm all for homegrown talent, but Norway simply doesn't have the capacity to produce great homegrown talents, and they always have trouble adapting to NA (See Thoresen, Zuccarello, etc).

I hope Narmo gets drafted by a team like Nashville or Los Angeles, who both seem to do a pretty good job bringing up goalies.

Chances are very slim that a team has taken notice and will pick him late but hey fingers are crossed for Narmo!

Even if he isn't drafted he fits the profile that clubs will look at for at trials. Think he will consider the NCAA or lower league route even if he's not drafted?

I wish him luck, with the right coaching the potential is there.

The products that come to the CHL are 16/17. By that age, much of the work has already been done. Sending players at a relatively late youth development stage isn't going to do that much. Many skills are already becoming visible (or lack of).

I doubt Narmo gets drafted. I've never seen him, but i imagine if he does ever get drafted, it will ne in his 2nd or 3rd year of eligibility. Teams will wait and see what happens with him (if he's even on any radars) rather than using a draft pick on someone years and years away.

Good to see that Lysenstoen has gotten into coaching. He was the big goalie playing a couple of games in the World Championships and Olympics in 2010.

Looks to be a MMA/Wrestling-fan. Goalie-fights coming up in the future ;)
