Good to see that Lysenstoen has gotten into coaching. He was the big goalie playing a couple of games in the World Championships and Olympics in 2010.

Looks to be a MMA/Wrestling-fan. Goalie-fights coming up in the future ;)

Has Narmo given up,or is he injured? Did not get a contract out of a try-out with Mora from Sweden's second tier.

He injured his leg very bad at the Mora camp. He has only been back for a month or so playing with his Norwegian club. Expect him to be Norways starter at next years World Juniors!

Any update on Thomas?

He's still not any good. So, pretty much the same as when this thread was created over 2 years ago. Failed to make the WJC team, and the two guys that played are not very good goalies.

He's playing for Pelicans in the Jr. A SM-liiga in Finland. He's a backup I guess, and in 8 games, his SV% is 87.3.

I'll stick with what i said when this thread was created. He'd struggle in the CHL. There's really nothing to see with this guy. He'll be lucky to end up as a starter in the Norwegian league.

He was kicked out of Pelicans because he was too lazy. No future in big leagues for him.

Did not know that . Why some people thought this guy had NHL level talent, I'll never understand.. When you're from Norway and you're not the starter for every single National team during your junior years, its a pretty good indicator that you're not going to get drafted by an NHL team. Its not like your facing stiff competition. Lars Volden, for example, was the starter for the U-20's team when he was still eligible for the U-18 team. Narmo on the other hand has never played a game for Norway in either the U-18's or U-20's, nor made the team.
