Shows you what the organization thinks of him. He’s too sound technically to get lit up regularly. Him behind Darryl Sutter defense could be something special imo. Stockton’s D strikes me as very meh.

The Flames have a low key intriguing prospect pool and Dustin is at the heart of that IMO.

Safe to assume he'll be sent back down prior to Sunday? I know Vladar is on the non-roster, so I was under the impression Wolf would only be up for a day or two.

I couldn’t believe it when I was drafted how far he has fallen just because he’s not 6’4. He’s been incredible at every level including now the AHL too. This kid is athletic as hell and will be a good goalie in the NHL someday.

Gives me Jonathan Quick vibes. This kid's gonna be really good once he gets his chance.

This guy is putting together quite the resume.

No pressure on him to become the starter in the bigs either as he can percolate behind Markstrom.

I wonder how much longer the Flames leave him in the AHL. I'm guessing one more year.

There isn't a lot of pressure to bring him up because of Markstrom and his long-term deal, but I do wonder how many of Markstrom's starts he'll take once he is called up. The Flames aren't going to want to stall Wolf's progression by giving him 20 games a year.

I am rooting for him. Also want to trade for Vladar once Wolf is ready to be called up lol.

Back to back shutouts to start round 3. Rocking a +950 in the playoffs as a rookie.

Pretty incredible what he’s able to do consistently. I’ve been saying all year he’s the best goalie in the organization right now. Nothing I’ve seen in the playoffs has shown me otherwise.

Beyond all the numbers he just has such a presence, too. I wish I could explain it but it's the same vibe I always got from Quick.

Another shutout to send the Heat to the AHL Western Conference Finals. 40 saves and looked like he was barely breaking a sweat.

His movement is just so economical and efficient, really tracks the puck well and keeps his feet much better than a lot of young goalies do. I can definitely see a Johnathon Quick comparison making sense, but I think his technical fundamentals are stronger. Very rarely off his angle.

It's very early but he's looked terrible so far. A lot of his weaknesses were front and center. For what its worth, I know it's a lot of same parts and even some AHL upgrades but the team in front of him has been pretty bad, I was expecting this team to dominate. It's only 2 games but a 5.44/.857 is big woof and worse yet he played like the line suggests. Still not big on him like other posters, and saw some weaknesses in his gme last year but we will see if this is an early hiccup and if he can turn this ship around and get back to his goalie of the year performance last year.

My favorite part is someone writing this based on 2 games.

Well Calgary re-signed Vladar so Wolf is going to have plenty of time to develop in the minors.
