Best kept secret. If he where other teams prospect ( you know which teams) there would be pages and pages with posts about him.

He's like a combination of the size of Hasek, the skill of Hasek, and the spirit of... yeah he's Hasek.
No pressure!

I'm not here to be a conspiracy theorist, but Devon Levi was born Dec 27, 2001

Per some random ass site on the internet I found, that would put his conception date in April 2 -> April 12 2001.

The Sabres regular season ended 4/8/01 and the playoffs began 4/11/01

Imagine if the Sabres knew Hasek has a love child playing goal.....

(please note: this is satire and I am in know way saying Levi is the son of Dominik Hasek)

7th shutout of the season tonight. Northeastern with their usual offensive explosion in support of him, managing 1 goal.[/QUOTE

Against The one and only Long Island University. Take that more as a slight on Norththeastern’s offense then the quality/context of the shutout but worth mentioning. I follow college hockey pretty closely and was unaware they had joined D1

LIU have some of the most striking uniforms.

And yes, only putting up 1 on them is very much an indictment of Northeastern's offensive production, even if they did spend a fair chunk of the game on the PK (six times if memory serves).

The Ryan Miller Trajectory
- Late Round Draft Pick
- Crush it in College <- (You are Here)
- Set the college shutout record and win Hobey Baker
- Crush it with the Amerks
- Lead the Sabres to the ECF
- Win the Vezina

Unfortunately, if he really follows Miller's path he won't be with the Sabres full time until 2026-2027 (man, goalies take forever) and won't win the Vezina until 2030-2031.

From what I saw of him at the WJC, the guy is a gamer. He looks really, really confident. The kind of confidence you know is not gonna fade. I've seen many goalies on Canada's WJC throughout the years and he and Carey Price were on another level.

Haven't seen much of him since, but just wanted to say I root for him! I was about to say I hope he gets success, but hope doesn't really fit. He'll get success if he keeps doing what he's doing.

You have guys that are athletes and they do well, but this guy is a goaltender.

Different times. Even goalies are getting to NHL sooner then before.

I can and I did. Please tell me who is more important to their team winning games?

Dryden McKay got his 8th shutout tonight

Sanderson and ND lost all 5 of their leading scorers last year and they are back in the top 10 while he leads them in scoring

other players are just as important

I disagree. Those players are great but they play on teams with much more talent and better systems than Northeastern. I believe if you removed Levi from Northeastern than the results would change more drastically than removing any single player from another team in college hockey.

I’m not sure you have as compelling an argument as you think. McKay and Levi have nearly identical GAA, but Levi’s sv pct is 23 pts higher. Shooters score on Levi once every 23 shots. Once every 14 shots for McKay. That’s the difference between .935 and .958.
