He's exactly what Canada needed. A calm, mature presence in net who doesn't crap the bed making the routine save every once in awhile. He hasn't been called on to be anything more than that, but that's a testament to how well Canada has played in this tournament. As for his pro prospects, he'll likely be an ECHL journeyman. He'll always have this tournament to look back on fondly though.
ECHL journeyman lmao. At least let the poor idiot make the AHL.

The kid is a computer science major.... it’s been said so many times that it’s obvious that you guys aren’t watching him like shit.

you really think this guy is gonna play more that 3 years in the echl ? At 26 he’s gonna dam well know he’s not good enough after 2 seasons if that’s the case. His problem when he turns pro will likely be that he doesn’t play pro long enough before calling it. This guy had Havard level grades his whole life.

Wowzas ... Love this kid. So calm . So steady. I don't know what he'll become but I'm glad he's between the pipes right now

To be fair, he’s not at Harvard although NE isn’t too academically weak: I think you’re right he might quit but then again he likes hockey. I agree that if he isn’t in the NHL, he won’t be in the AHL at 30 although he could also be an overseas allstar

Far far ahead.

NE has 2 guys coming in whom turned down Havard, yes that happens.

Man this board is something else, come to read about a player who has been lights out and all the genious's that know nothing about goaltending are saying he is going to have a 3 year ECHL hockey league career.

I mean most of you wouldnt even know what foot a goalie is supposed to get up on coming out of a butterfly but you are smart enough to predict a goaltenders career.

That Carleton Place team would get the floor wiped by them by any team in the USHL. There is a large gap there.

Go look at all the top players on the RBC Cup teams. Most of them did stints in the USHL, and didn't put up numbers and returned home.

CCHL is pretty low level of Junior. Its more of a D3 feeder league than a D1. None of the blue bloods recruit out of the CCHL. Theres a reason for that

CCHL is below the NAHL too. Commitments don't lie
What a clueless post. You have no idea. CCHL teams would crush the NAHL. Ive played in the CCHL and played games against those teams felt like it was an exhibition game against a Jr B team just less physical.

The idea that the CCHL is low level junior is a joke, the exposure that it gets is yes far below that of the USHL, the caliber isn’t far off.

let’s also not forget that some good Canadians who could play Jr.A at home go to the NAHL and USHL.

Depending on the year... BCHL and CCHL are the best JR.A, and AJHL ain’t too shabby.

Anyways, Levi’s track record is unreal and I know for a fact 3 teams like him and have spoken to him. Doesn’t Guarantee anything but their are teams that are tracking him.

Craig Button pencilled this guy as the starter at the WJC for Canada this year for a reason.
Pretty obvious most here have no clue about the different leagues.

I played in the CCHL also...And you never played against NAHL teams while you were in the CCHL either lol. NAHL teams are filled with D1 commits. CCHL might have 2-3 a team, there are some with zero. The NAHL is also a billion times more physical than the CCHL

Actually you do play them, obviously this is before your time or you are making it up. There are tournaments and exhibition games. I dont believe you for a second you played.

Where did you have Levi on your draft board?

Lol this post proves you never played. In what tournaments do CCHL and NAHL teams ever square off? Ive also never heard of CJHL vs USA Hockey playing exhibitions. Its unfortunate you ran into someone who you can’t BS. I actually did play in the CC, then a year in the EJ, then NCAA. The EJHL, which is now NCDC, is also way stronger than the CCHL

Any reason he's not playing at Northeastern? Team has played 17 games and Connor Murphy has gotten all of the starts.
