Is it too late to undo the Laine/Pld trade?
I think they can both use a change of scenery.

maybe he had to many hot dogsMaurice's body language in this presser is that of a defeated man. I think he knows that the game was a turning point.
Edit: he actually sounds drunk.

I think we are all pissed off but for anyone who doesn’t have Chevy at the front of the firing line why? He has been the boss for 10 years and the full weight should fall on him. If a new GM wants a new coach so be it and I’d bet on it. But Chevy owns this more than anyone.
I think the good effort is because Jets played the Sens.
The problem is they still lost.
The Jets.
Of course. It is obviously an organization decision to not use up an ELC year.Do you think Chevy tells Maurice who to sit?
Stanley is coming out next game. He shouldn't be, but he will because he messed up at the end there.

then he wouldn't even call them up to the taxi squad, they would be full time on the moose...Of course. It is obviously an organization decision to not use up an ELC year.
yup makes zero sense how it's an org decision to sit heinola, some people always try to give pomo an excuse for his lack of playing young playersThen I'm not sure why the GM would publicly say how ready Heinola is in public and make his coach look bad by telling him not to play him in private.

After 10 years it is the guy at the top who takes the first bullet. After that the new guy gets to make the organizational decisions. At this point it doesn’t make sense to do it in any other order.State of the defense, yeah that is on him but poor strategy and awful roster usage is 100% on the coach.
Maurice is the one who has derived an offensive system based on perimiter play and long range shots and he is the one who insists on dressing the defense he has consistiently. Really you think Chevy is telling him to play Benn over Stanley game in and game out. Chevy has mentioned Heinola as a possible solution to our defense multiple times to the press this year. Do you really think he would be mentioning him if he was not allowing Moe to use him due to contract situations.
Honestly I am fine with both going if it came to it this summer but I would be moving Moe out first.
It's not Chevy sitting Heinola and playing Forbort.
when it comes to maybe burning a year of ELC then yea I doDo you think Chevy tells Maurice who to sit?
