I think we are all pissed off but for anyone who doesn’t have Chevy at the front of the firing line why? He has been the boss for 10 years and the full weight should fall on him. If a new GM wants a new coach so be it and I’d bet on it. But Chevy owns this more than anyone.

I seriously think it's all a plot to face and eliminate the Leafs in the first round. But honestly, I am royally screwed, as my first team is the Canucks and the second team is the Jets.

Honestly the team deserved to win tonight, we totally dummied Ottawa and held them to like 5 scoring chances all game, we had 17. I am not down on the team for an effort like tonight, we are having a terrible stretch in terms of puck luck but if they keep doing what they were tonight it will turn around and they will win.

Brossoit played well and did what he could tonight.

Morrissey was fantastic, was the best player on the ice and was a force both ways for the team. Him and Pionk played quite good together the back half of the game and if they can get some chemistry going then we have one pairing figured out for next year.

The top line was starting to find its mojo as the game went on, they had a lot of zone time. What they need to do now is turn that zone time into more slot opportunities. Still too much from far out.

Stanley made a poor clearing attempt on the sequence that lead to their GWG but otherwise had a solid night. He plays physical and can generally move the puck well so that is an asset on our bottom pairing. DeMelo was very good as well out there and him and Stanley gives us a good third pairing. We may only need to worry about building one pairing for next year.

Our middle 6 lines had some jump but couldn't get in tight to the net enough. Lowry really was rusty with the puck tonight and was making some real head scratching decisions. First game back so there is that.

Ves was solid again as was the fourth.

Poolman and Forbert were very poor again. No surprise they were the only dmen under 5o in terms of XGF%. If we can get rid of both of those two and get another good pairing we may be in business.

Simply put a quick exit clear the decks, coaches, management and players and start fresh

I like Chevy's contract negotiations (when he's not pissing off our players or re-signing Stuart, Pavelec or Wheeler), but his planning has been abysmal. No defence fixes in 2 years, keeping a stale coach and failing to fix locker room issues. I like Chevy, I really do. I don't think he is capable of winning anymore, though.

I wonder what our game winning percentage is with Ehlers out of the lineup ?? I'd bet it's pretty abysmal. We need Nikky on the ice -- he's really the team leader, and play driver in my mind.

I don't care if they're playing the Letterkenny Shamrocks, I'll take a good effort againt anyone at this point.

I agree the actually carried the play most of the game but such a slim margin for error with them. One bad clearing attempt by Stanley and it is a tire fire resulting in a goal

Seriously! No one wants to hear that f***ing shit Sawyer! We still lost.

Sawyer should be on the Canadian Olympics squad for the gymnastics he does to pump the Jets' tires on the broadcast.

10 goals in the last 7 games - but this team is just a "bounce" or a "break" away from snapping out of it.

This team shouldn't be one f***ing bounce away from the Senators without their best defenseman. That's the issue, Kevin.
