Who is Stephane Laporte? He's reporting a rumor of Coburn, Simmonds and Talbot for Plekanec, Moen and Beaulieu?

Flyers are actually planning on rolling 6 forward lines this year. Left Wing - Left Center wing - Center - Right Center Wing - Right Wing

Great, another FA signing in the East.

Our division continues to get stronger, as it isnt difficult enough as is - Horton to CLB, Jagr to Canes, Devils with their signings and trades, Pitt is Pitt, now with Scuderi, Flyers doing things, Islanders on the rise, damn - not easy and even tougher with a lower percentage to make the dance compared to the West, ugh.

Hate the realignment.

As in one legit 1st liner... maybe one 2nd... and a ton of rotating 3rd and 4th liners.

It feels like we have depth now obviously... nothing to be scared of though... nothing dangerous (and I'm not speaking in terms of physicality).

Nash is a legit 1st liner.

Agreed. Still to this day I wonder what makes him so much of a better player than Brandon Dubinsky.

Exactly and I'm no Dubinsky fan I think that's been made obvious yet I still think he's more effective than Simmonds. Both are inconsistent in almost every facet of their game.

Not sure why it's that ludicrous he's extremely overrated on HF.

I think he's very good and I'd love for the Rangers to get him. I wouldn't trade him if I were the flyers. But the reason why he won't be traded unless something changes drastically is that he's a celebrated black player in a heavily black city and the flyers would take tremendous heat for it.

And last year the Rangers acquired Nash and had Kreider coming off an insane playoffs and many picked them to win the Cup.

Nothing is decided in July.

Then that's obviously why they signed Emery so they could trade Simmonds and appease their African-American fan base...NOT! Your logic makes no sense. The Flyers are not keeping any black player for any reason other than he helps their team.

And Dubi is not as good as Simmonds.

That Jagr to the Canes thing was not true. Flyers have no D and a questionable goalie. Devils have no D and an old Broduer.

Just spit-balling, but I wonder if the Rangers were a little surprised that Mueller wasn't qualified and are weighing him against Zuccarello. Really skilled kid who has a cannon of a shot that can be used on the PP. I know the Rangers were interested in him when he was in Phoenix, and I thought I saw that we had expressed some interest when he was a FA last summer. Had a woeful shooting percentage last year, and obviously the concussion issues are a concern, but there's some solid upside there and he fills a hole on the PP.

It's possible. I think they were a bit surprised Pouliot was not re-signed as well.

Odd that they haven't signed a young dman like Blum, Weber or Kostka on the cheap yet.

Probably a combination of so few contract spots available, and the fact that we probably want a guy like Blum on a 2-way deal to avoid cap issues should he not make the team out of camp.

Then again, it's more likely that the Rangers just aren't terribly interested in any of them. Weber also signed with the 'Nucks.

Source tells @TGfireandice Marek Zidlicky had a two-year offer ($4.5 million per) on the table from a team Friday; has yet to sign anywhere.
