The past couple of days have really been incredible in the rangers forum. Lol.

It’s one thing to disagree with signing Jack Johnson, or to be bummed that we didn’t resign fast. I get it.

Its an entirely different story to have an emotional breakdown and claim Gorton is somehow a failure now because of moves like this.

These moves are by and large very inconsequential. Keep the big picture in mind. This team is poised to be the next perennial contender. Have a look at Tampa. Have a look at Colorado. That’s the direction outside analysts see this team going...and trust me when I tell you that there is no one outside of this board that thinks that is the least bit de-railed over the last 2 days of borderline meaningless activity. Let’s keep things real.

This is not as silly as it sounds. Many people have a bright shiny picture of Las Vegas in their mind. It’s really a nice southwest city that happens to have an incredible entertainment district. People want to see what their everyday life will be like.

Without the lottery it's likely Gorton takes Zegras and Lundell and he's a folklore hero for our Center depth.

hindsight should have traded him at deadline

bright side extremely excited to see kakko move into the top 6 and fingers crossed that gauthier steps up with a chance at the 3rd line...

Wonder if that opens a spot for kravtsov to return sooner than later?

Yup, in hindsight he should have been dealt. But I'm looking forward to not having him playing on the wrong line and whiffing on golden opportunities on a nightly basis.

Sitting here with the same prospect pool but Zegras and Lundell instead of Kakko and Lafreniere.

Wrong. Gorton has done plenty of good things including trades, drafting and FA.
