Replacing a pylon with an actual player on the top pair (perhaps a very good one) isn't a huge improvement? Removing an anchor from McDonagh isn't an improvement?

we don't know what DeAngelo is.. That replacement could be Staal (AV did it last year)

If you move Smith/Skjei up to the top pair, Staal still plays top 4..

Agreed, if we aren't chasing Shattenkirk, save your dollars for Tavares. Or offer sheet Draisaitl but that seems unlikely.

Hockey in Canada is football in the USA and they don't take it to nearly the level we do. The draft gets like THREE DAYS of nonstop preview. An hour is perfectly fine.
