Not necessarily true. Brad Richards and Shattenkirk are two prime examples here. One was traded at the deadline and signed with us months later. The other waited until free agency and signed with us.

If a player wants to play here, and the feeling is mutual, it'll happen. No need to blow our load of assets we acquired.

You got to agree with me that that team would be OK right, not the worst in the league, probably not a P.O. team in the Metro, plus 3 firsts in 19’ again.

But, what I think you miss is — what cap hit would that roster have in say 2020? It’s a stretch if that team gets to the floor even with 7.5m to Trouba, the retained money and Hanks deal. Tremendous flexibility. Tremendously deep farm. It would be awesome.
