Agree 100%.

Even if we make zero trades, at least we didn't hand out any ridiculoua contracts to garbage players.

We didn't have room to hand out any ridiculous contracts, because of previous ridiculous decisions made by the Edmonton Genius. And we consider this a successful day.

The bar is set REALLY low around here...:help:

Asham was advertised as a very physical, veteran presence and look how that turned out.

I'm seeing the same thing with scrubs like Nystrom, Hendricks, McLeod, Haley being mentioned as solutions to the Rangers abysmal bottom 6. None of those are skilled players that can play a consistent puck on stick game. I personally do not want a bottom 6 completely filled with hackers and coke machines. We need much more skill, not only in the top 6, but the bottom 6. I want NHL players who can generate offense and can effectively move the puck up the ice, not more guys who keep hitting. We already have Dorsett, Haley and Boyle as options, now we need to surround them with talent.

1 dimensional guys are the issue. Boyle and Dorsett are a good start. Moore is a good complimentary player.

I guess we will all have to agree to disagree.

Yeah because guys who can actually fight laugh at him. You don't have to be a goon to be a decent fighter. Prust was a great fighter. Dorsett is more like a Sean Avery. He has a huge mouth but he's not a guy I want handling all of our "extracurricular activities".

You don't know anything about Dorsett, do you?

i feel like if the rangers make a trade (moving del zotto or staal) at this point it would be with either the canes, oilers or jets...

Callahan - None fighting forward who defines the word 'tough'.

Always finishes his checks. Takes care of business around the crease. Doesn't shy away from throwing jabs and facials during melees.

He's also tough to play against. Shot blocking, board play, tenacious effort.

You don't need a big team full of guys who can drop the gloves. Assemble a team full of hockey players who have some balls. Guys that don't take **** from the opposition. Guys that have a high motor and hit with a purpose. If they can drop the gloves, it's an added bonus but fighting and toughness don't go hand-in-hand in today's NHL, imo.

Our current roster has a severe dirth of balls. Physically dominated by bos.......

Without change mcd and step will get hurt and then the passive tune on this board will Change. I'm sure we are going to address this issue.

I am just going to walk away from this because you can't seem to converse without twisting people's words to support your argument.

Cheers

You would have just continued to tout the nonsense that the rangers D are unable to win in front of their own net, even though anyone who watches knows they win the vast majority of the time.

The only logical thing you could be thinking is that the rangers D don't fight players when they bump the king. That is where your idea of "lack or toughness" comes from

Are you now telling me what I think? This is getting better.

As you continue to tout the nonsense that I want goons and only care about fighting. Please continue showing your foolishness.

Glad Dominic Moore gets to resume his NHL career here in New York. I hope he can start to find some peace and hopefully the team wins and gives him and his family something to be happy about.

Welcome back Dominic!
