Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I'll give them respect once results stay showing on the ice.
I don't mind MacLellan but I have never been a Chiarelli fan.
With a culture change they will be a threat in a few years.
They are going to have to manage some contracts to fill out that defense though.

Sportsnet had a stat up showing the Kings as the least active team on free agent frenzy day since that cap came into play. I think the number was 5, maybe 6 players they have signed on total on July 1.

The important ones, yes. Rosen said Lombardi's plan was to sign a clear cut #2. So far, every single backup has signed somewhere other than LA.
Seriously though, other than sheer ability of being a top goalie in the league, why does no one want to play with Quick? Bernier, Martin Jones and now all these backup goalies are signing places other than LA. Are they that worried about playing time? History says Quick will get hurt, so you know you'll be able to get at least 15ish games?

Well, I'm not going to lie...losing Sekera stings a bit. I'm thinking it was the NMC that may have been the deal breaker. But in any case, knowing Lombardi, he'll find a way to improve our defense, so, I ain't too worried.
I know right?!?! We need to go Donald Trump on this Free Agency. Should jump in and offer PA Parenteau $6 million on a one year deal. Boom!

I agree, the NMC is an absolute deal breaker. Dean has now been stung pretty badly by these long contracts that he can't get away from and Sekera had injury problems with us in such a short time. Don't see him handing out any NMC's with the insanely volatile situation our finances are in. We have no clue if the Richards contract will stay off the books and if Voynov will suddenly appear on the roster tomorrow. Too unpredictable.
