Ha we hit some bumps in the road but:
1. We landed Milan MF Lucic for a non roster player.... This is a nasty skilled winger. Changes that top line..big spark expected. Gabby on the right side, room to operate.
2. We got rid of Stoll, guys were begging for this last year
3. We got rid of Richards thus far.....do a happy dance...ya a black eye, but blk eyes don't effect on ice performance and this makes us better next year by subtraction.
4. We can't live in the past with Williams.... He declined in a huge way last year..plus he is 34.
5. Brown moves to line 3. Fellows we have the depth to play a Brown quality player on line 3
Look at two comparable teams - Chicago and Boston
We lost Sekera ya, the cap sucks but:
Chicago just lost Saad and more to come
Boston lost Hamilton and Lucic
We are contenders with a deadly top 6, the best Dman in the world leading a young core that still has Muzzin, Martinez and possibly Voynov. We have a pit bull in Quick in net.
It's not all bad. We can still compete.
