1) Richards situation is not resolved
2) Kopitar is gonna get a big raise
3) Lucic if the Kings want to keep him needs to get paid.
4) Voynov could be back on the team by years end.
5) It was a 6 year deal at 5.5 million for Sekera. That would take us past the Doughty re-up, and with the Richards things not resolved we could get popped with 4 million plus in in a few years.
6) Its about freaking time Forbort plays in the NHL, he has been groomed enough.

As players get older, they can't produce the magic every time. Such will be the case with Williams.

I'm really okay if he moves on and it allows a kid like Weal to get his shot.

Supposed it was 5x5 back when he and the Kings were negotiating at the beginning of the season. That was before everyone had realized that the Canadian dollar going down was going to severely limit the cap increase.

It had a NMC/NTC in it. Something the DL doesn't just give out. And players will take that with less money so they have control over where and when they go to a degree.

The Kings don't really have room for Williams any more. Where would he play? I guess you could put Brown 3LW and Williams 3RW but we remember how well that worked out last year. Speaking of the 3rd line, I'd rather them go after a center than Williams. I love Williams but the writing was on the wall. I am kind of surprised he hasn't signed yet.
