It was reported the Leafs like Kerfoot so I think it's unlikely they move him.

Holl should be a trade target especially with these UFA prices. But there has to be demand and a buyer. As the UFA market dries up, things will move to the trade market
Own renting kerfoot is pretty disappointing tbh

He's not going to be brought back. Should have explored the trade market for him imo

Landeskog, Kadri, Manson, MacDermid (didn't play, but still), Erik Johnson, O'Connor. So to answer your question probably significantly.

At no point during Colorado's run did I go "damn, their grit is really winning them games".

Speed. It was their speed. Speed and tenacity, and the ability to score a lot of goals.

Toronto needs to get faster and more tenacious, not "meaner".

Only 3-4 tough guys? The rest are the type that takes punishment.

Clifford, Simmonds, Gio, Rielly, Lub, we had guys who were willing to give and take too.

We were tougher than Tampa and the refs decided to call the tightest playoffs I've ever seen, so doesn't always work out.
The difference is two of those guys can't play and one is a depth defenceman. Colorado had functional toughness in Landeskog, Kadri, Manson, O'Connor, Johnson etc.

I also wouldn't really consider Rielly tough?

Thoughts on a Nylander for Risto+Deslauriers deal?
LOL

Respectfully disagree. Their speed was the defining factor, doesn't mean their sandpaper didn't contribute.

Wasn't something similar turned down by Dubas last year ? Kerfoot and Dermott? Oof missed op ( if reports were true). I'd do Kerfoot and Holl in a heartbeat

Wanna say it was Mango + Dermott.

I'd do it also. Gives you even better of a chance to trade Muzzin, as you can have Brodie with Sandin.

Johnson, Manson, and O'Connor are mediocre players. Feel free to disagree, but I think they are all replacement level.

We aren't a soft team. We are around the level of Tampa and Colorado.

The toughest teams (Washington, Minnesota, and Calgary) did not do great.
