He's a rookie who has never played professional hockey and has had his hand in a cast for a year. I'd at least like to shelter him for October.

Right, that's why I'd start him off on the 3rd pair with Hamonic, and move him up if he's progressed around Christmas.

I actually think putting him with a more offensive guy might work in terms of sheltering him. Let him focus on the defensive side and not worry about moving the puck as much. Obviously either way you don't want him to be the guy shutting down the oppositions best

You added a line about playing with harmonic much prefer that. 3rd pairing, 2nd pp, 2nd pk. Slowly learn and develop.
Nope. Toss him in the deep end. If he doesn't immediately exceed expectations while also promising to take a home discount later we get Bruce to slander his character and willingness to win.

He seems to know somebody. He has been talking about "the streets" (his source) and was saying Giroux would sign and Brown would be traded and I think something else. For what it's worth "rumbling" is the second highest on his scale.
I don’t think he has any sources just kinda throws stuff up against the wall and hope it sticks “the streets “are really just smart educated guesses - He had Murray to Edmonton because insiders first hinted at it.

Just my IMO anyways.

So Dorion is about to dump zaitsev, sign klingberg, trade for weegar, re-sign Norris, and hire alfredsson, all before his pizza is delivered.

God damn. What a guy.
No, his pizza has been delivered. In fact 2 of them have - and he's juggling them with his free hand.

I actually think we might have a similar source. The timelines of when he posts are very close to when I hear things, but I think I am more selective in what I pass along.

I expect he knows someone who works in either the marketing, communication or graphics department for the Sens.

The office really isn’t thag big.

Do you guys just do random keyword searches on Twitter to find these random ass tweets?
If you want to figure out the algorithm you have to search "leaf inside information" that's how you get sens inside info.

What if you have undiagnosed multiple personality disorder and he's actually you but you who craves the clout and you don't even know it ?

Dallas fans say his play has fallen off a cliff. They say he doesn't defend and he plays with absolutely no sense of urgency. I'd rather stand pat than make a huge mistake with this guy.

While I am also not crazy about Klingberg, urgency is a problem that can be fixed with a change of scenery. Certainly easier than bad knees or concussion problems.

A short term deal would give him something to prove.

That being said I still think Dorion should push for other solutions first.

I’d rather have Petry than Klingberg, but he probably wouldn’t waive his NTC.

Klingberg on a 1 year deal would be the absolute best case scenario.

Keep your assets, buy time for the young defensemen, and if you have to, get back into the free agent or trade market next summer.

Him taking that would have sounded farfetched 2 days ago… but who knows…

I don't understand how the play of a guy like Klingberg, who was just a few years ago considered a superstar, can fall off a cliff this rapidly with no major injuries.

Do you think the Avs are looking to cap dump Erik Johnson?

An Avs fan mentioned Girard.

After them saying he was their best defenceman for awhile (?) I think he has fallen down the depth chart below Byram, Toews and Makar.

At different times during the past couple of seasons and depending on the thread, Makar, Toews, Girard and Byram were all their best defenceman which is hilarious.
