I wonder if Ostaphuk’s recent surge and Jarventie having a good WJC showing would make Dorion less reluctant to move Greig in a trade for Chychrun, providing they take Zaitsev too.
Not sure going to Belleville is worst than Arizona in this current political climatesShould just tell him he's going to Belleville if he wont waive.
The irony of getting burned by another ntc on a TML cap dump dman is too much lol.
Want nothing to do with Subban in the locker room. NJ fans are also the most delusional on these boards.Fake news from July 23 when someone on Habs Twitter got a little cute.
The way NJD fans defend him on these boards though, makes me think he still has enough juice to be a good #5-6D with upside and would work great as a locker room guy + mentor.
Where did you hear thisHold up on Chychrun trade is Zaitsev. If he decided to waive, or if he gets dealt elsewhere, Chychrun will be an Ottawa Senator 100%

Who says he's at all reluctantI wonder if Ostaphuk’s recent surge and Jarventie having a good WJC showing would make Dorion less reluctant to move Greig in a trade for Chychrun, providing they take Zaitsev too.
I'm sure of it. The hold up is Greig or Pinto. No one knows for sure on here though lol. Maybe BenjivWho says he's at all reluctant
f***. We should be asking him for sure.Apparently Austin Watson has 9 half siblings.
Someone ask his stepdad, he must know something.
There has to be more to the package than Greig or Pinto.,I'm sure of it. The hold up is Greig or Pinto. No one knows for sure on here though lol. Maybe Benjiv
It's still doable, you can find quality 3rd liners for 1-1.5 mil on the market. Getting a #1/#2 dman at 4.7 mil for 3 years is also fantastic value. Put them on seperate pairings and it’ll be like having a resated Chabot on the ice for over 80% of the game.Arizona probably wants Greig/Pinto + 1st and then more for taking on Zaitsev.
Considering we will want to give huge deals to DBC and Stutzle, we may not be able to make everything work if we give up our top prospects who should be good cheap labour.
I wonder if Arizona is asking for our 2023 1st round pick unprotected and we have only offered it protected top 5 or similar plus 2nd and lower round picks.I'm sure of it. The hold up is Greig or Pinto. No one knows for sure on here though lol. Maybe Benjiv

I think the framework of what Arizona wants is Greig/Pinto + 1st. The other pieces would be easy to arrange. Letting go of Pinto or Greig would not. There has to be more to the package than Greig or Pinto.,
I think it stems from confusion on Zaitsev's value. On the one hand he is an elite defender with among the best feet in the NHL and on the other hand teams are asking for picks/prospects to take him.
So if I understand correctly you are saying that we would have Chychrun if PD would give up Greig.
If it was Greig for Chychrun I think the deal would/should be done.
Who knows...I personally doubt that's the hold up. If that was it, I'd just do it if I was PD. Yes, it's risky, I certainly think we all get that from the Duchene deal, but we're f-ing loaded for bear right now. Completely and utterly loaded, we might as well go for it. I doubt that picks becomes anything*I wonder if Arizona is asking for our 2023 1st round pick unprotected and we have only offered it protected top 5 or similar plus 2nd and lower round picks.
I truly think Arizona is waiting for PD to blink.
But also, his jobs not on the line, every passing 6 months unloading Zaitsev becomes cheaper by about a 3rd to 4th round pick value (without costing us much in real dollars going forward), and Chychrun's value goes down wiht less contract length.Old Pierre would have, but we still have a lot of Summer to go.
Seriously though I think the improvements otherwise and the young talent depth on D puts us in a solid position to not budge out of desperation.
Doubt it. Who will be our 3LW? Parker Kelly?Sens are probably offering Formenton instead of Greig, who might be able to replace Formenton on the 3rd line as soon as next season for around 2M less.
Formenton, one of our D prospects, 2023 1st, 2024 2nd, Zaitsev, maybe another pick/prospect is an offer I could see the Yotes taking if the Hockey Canada investigation doesn't amount to anything.
Replacing a third line winger is far easier than a top 4 D. If we do move Formenton, we've got a few options in Belleville with Greig, Sokolov and Crookshank that could give us 3rd line mins. Lodin could get a look too.Doubt it. Who will be our 3LW? Parker Kelly?
Our top 9 is set in stone IMO

At the prices players are going for right now, we could use a 2nd from 2024 and get a player like Brown.I imagine they'd re-sign Ennis or a different guy in case Greig or Sokolov aren't ready yet.
Outside the of Gambrell signing, I think they may be done going that route finally (I hope)I imagine they'd re-sign Ennis or a different guy in case Greig or Sokolov aren't ready yet.
