Hasn’t been good. A true reclamation project with an actual chance at success, not like a Julien Gauthier.

Should be getting top line minutes in San Jose, seeing the competition is Duclair, Barbanev, Eklund and Zetterlund. Not much competition for scoring spots.

Exactly the type of depth they should be looking at. He didnt play in the playoffs for the Islanders so I dont know how much he has left in the tank.

Comtois, Gurianov, Toews, Tatar, Sundqvist, Boqvist, White, Statsny are also options that could be had for cheap on a 1 year deal.

If we could get 2 of Comtois/Tatar/Sundqvist I'd be thrilled.

Would anyone have any interest in Josh Bailey on a 1 year, league minimum contract extension to play on the 3rd line with pinto? Obviously DJ connection and a vet who could provide some depth.

I haven’t watched him much lately and I know his numbers aren’t great, but I feel like he could fit here on a cheap contract

at a league minimum i'd be open if we can't find anyone else. Maybe as a 13th forward similar to brassard

His stats certainly haven't been great, but apparently he's at least a hard worker and responsible defensively. That third line LW spot is vacant, you'd just hope some of his offense finally starts to come out. At 1.1M though, no harm if it doesn't work.

SJ will be a good spot for him.
