Yes and DJ Smith definitely forced Brady to fight those guys against his will. Because we had no one else on the team that could do it so they made Brady.

Definitely how it went down.
Yes and also none of those guys are 4th liners.

There are probably 10 better fighters on this team.

And they can do other things too!
I love me some toughness, but you gotta sign the correct people for it to make sense Zach even at league minimum seems like a waste when your bottom 6 is already lacking secondary scoring and when you’ve already signed Boko and had him plastered all over team official social media..

Do you really? Fighting is not what it was man. No one ever really needs to go anymore. Half the time now it's skill players that get pissed off.
Brady was involved in 8 fights last year plus many assorted scuffles. You don't need your captain and top line left winger involved in more than 1-2 a year at most. Let someone else handle guys like Reaves, Trouba and Arber Xhekaj and keep him on the ice.

That’s not who Brady was fighting. Covered a few posts back.

You really think Brady will back down and let Zach come to his rescue ? That’s not his personality at all.. He’ll still
Fight and get into those scrums I’m sure..

Love seeing the regular Sens nerds meltdown over a league minimum signing after seeing some coloured numbers posted by a fellow nerd on Twitter and consulting their John Chayka poster.

Yeah… he knows nothing compared to people on the outside looking in.

TSN Hired him for his good looks only, not his inside knowledge of the NHL
Lets be fair though. Do you apply this to every NHLer hired by any media company ever because that statement seems to imply that?

Kypreos, O'Neill, Subban, MaClean, Bieksa, Milbury, Hrudy, etc. all gospel as well?

Yes everyone who’s been around the game is so much smarter compared to the hardcore fan … these talking heads on TV have a success rate of being correct exactly
100% of the time lol

They are never wrong!!!!

We keep saying stuff like this and we keep being one of the worst teams in the league.
Actually most people were complaining we had 5th and 6th Dmen playing top 4 minutes and washed up AHL calibre Dmen playing 5th and 6th. That and a rookie playing 2nd line centre. Who was on the 4th line was way down the list.

Just think how exciting it's going to be when this guy gets on the score sheet every seventh game or so. I haven't seen him play enough to know if he can at least skate and check well enough to prevent our opponent's fourth line from dominating us. Let's hope our pro scouts surprise us this time.

Or when he blocks a shot with 8 seconds left and we are up 6 - 1 and DJ goes nuts and calls his wife and tells her it's on tonight.
