I agree 100% but I do think it's a lot harder to correct this behavior than we think. It's also why signing plugs does nothing to stop our more skilled players from fighting.

I find hockey so outdated that you rarely see adjustments to the set systems coaches use and the way they build teams. If I am a coach and see they have a slow skating Dman out there, I am throwing away my system and trying to get out my fastest skaters and telling them to just exploit that side every time they break out that side and push against him.

If you play poker you know emotion is a fairly big component. A revenge range is different from a call range depending on your position. Tilting a player with a "bad" play, in the right moment, has as much value as the by the book percentage plays do. The smarter play isn't always the winning play or the best play even if it is the majority of the time.

When I play poker, I am the guy who takes advantage of people's emotions. I don't get emotional when I play poker. I don't have a revenge range or ever seek revenge; I am there to make money, not for feelings.

I rather we improve our bottom 6 Both Zach and potentially Boko in our bottom 6 obviously doesn’t make us any better with regards to secondary scoring …

The 3 years makes it a head scratcher especially cause we already signed Imama. But if they are comfortable parking him in the A then I'm less concerned.

Larger argument is about team makeup and fighting philosophy.

because to be a good team you need good depth that plays two way hockey. we need depth that can play, not size or toughness. size and toughness are not why we are losing.

Yes and DJ Smith definitely forced Brady to fight those guys against his will. Because we had no one else on the team that could do it so they made Brady.

Brady has and will take that upon himself if nobody else can. Clear as day some of you folks haven't played above timbits hockey
