Proposal: Free agency edition Trade Rumours/Proposals - 2025/26 Part II

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
Because GMs are going nuts and they want in in the action , did you see what Byram got?
It's just odd that he was being shopped at the trade deadline under Treliving who apparently at that point had already lost all of his 'executive' powers. And now the new Chyka/Sundin regime is pushing just as hard to move him. Seems like it's coming from above rather than simple 'hockey ops'.

Very odd....🤔

He scored 29 and 22 under Green once we asked him to stop flying the zone to stretch out the oppositions D. Whether he is still capable of 35 or not, we lost that before the trade.
Okay we lost a 30 goal scorer BIG winger who is our guy infront of the net

We need to replace. Eklund is a good secondary player but he isn't a finisher and we need a quality finisher

Dude played through a broken arm and you're calling him soft?

That was impressive, and he's probably one of the most talented blueliners at transporting the puck through the neutral zone and making it look effortless most of the time. But yes, he plays soft.

Should I use another word to describe it? There's a difference between playing through a horrible injury and actually playing soft. Chabot plays soft, that is not debatable and you know it.

Ya the team is looking a little soft, certainly not to many players that are physically imposing.

Hopefully the team can still win by being fast and a well structured team.

def need to grab some big bodied wingers.

Mctavish isn't tall but he will play hard. Marchment is good too

Yeah, maybe find a better word, because multiple coaches have talked about him being tough as nails with what he plays through, the guy isn't soft. He's not physically imposing, or intimidating anybody but he's not shying away from contact or bailing on plays to avoid hits.
