We need this guy
Would be an excellent Cousins upgrade. Have the cap to bring in a high-end role player like Greer.

NopeAre you one of the guys crying about Zetterbust's 17 goals?
We need this guy
What else can they do without the fake tough guy captain around to have a staged fight on their behalf. Everything will crumble.Who on the team is soft?

ChabotWho on the team is soft?
Dude played through a broken arm and you're calling him soft?Just my opinion, but to me I think the team is overall soft. Not really singling out any player, but as a group.
Although Chabot does come to mind if you're going to push for an answer on a single player.
It's just odd that he was being shopped at the trade deadline under Treliving who apparently at that point had already lost all of his 'executive' powers. And now the new Chyka/Sundin regime is pushing just as hard to move him. Seems like it's coming from above rather than simple 'hockey ops'.Because GMs are going nuts and they want in in the action , did you see what Byram got?

Chabby is definitely not SOFT. He may be weak, but that man played with 1 arm to help us in the playoffs.Chabot

One look at Bennett charging towards them and they’ll fold.
I think it's leverage or the backup plan while we go and get another guy that wasn't on anyone's radar.Maybe the mctavish thing is a smokescreen. I can't imagine staios not getting a veteran winger
Okay we lost a 30 goal scorer BIG winger who is our guy infront of the netHe scored 29 and 22 under Green once we asked him to stop flying the zone to stretch out the oppositions D. Whether he is still capable of 35 or not, we lost that before the trade.
Everybody plays hurt in the playoffs. Chabot is probably the softest guy on the team.I think it's leverage or the backup plan while we go and get another guy that wasn't on anyone's radar.

def need to grab some big bodied wingers.Ya the team is looking a little soft, certainly not to many players that are physically imposing.
Hopefully the team can still win by being fast and a well structured team.
Enjoy getting dummied by Florida on the scoreboard and physically when they toss these guys around like ragdolls.None of these guys are soft.
They all battle and hard.
Yeah, maybe find a better word, because multiple coaches have talked about him being tough as nails with what he plays through, the guy isn't soft. He's not physically imposing, or intimidating anybody but he's not shying away from contact or bailing on plays to avoid hits. That was impressive, and he's probably one of the most talented blueliners at transporting the puck through the neutral zone and making it look effortless most of the time. But yes, he plays soft.
Should I use another word to describe it? There's a difference between playing through a horrible injury and actually playing soft. Chabot plays soft, that is not debatable and you know it.
You hate this team. Why not go to another one and be happy?Enjoy getting dummied by Florida on the scoreboard and physically when they toss these guys around like ragdolls.
