  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
This team just keeps finding ways to make games more difficult than they need to be. They are who they appear to be; a non contender. Oh they'll tease us all season being "in the wild card race" but at best that'll just buy them a squashing at the hands of a superior ball club in a WC series. They're only really in that race because the AL is just so mediocre this year.

Yeah, yeah, it's barely halfway, still a lot of baseball to play. Still.

I thought the whole thing with Schneider was that his teams always at least come ready to play, they don't even do that anymore

There is still a clear lack of clubhouse leadership. You need more than just a tight brotherhood to help keep everyone aligned on the ultimate goal, especially after blowing the world series. Springer isn’t a captain.
The coach might be too friendly too. I mean i'm surpsised nobody threw a temper tantrum so far the way things are going.

Does a trade need to happen to inject life into this team.
I think they need to start thinking about next season personally. It's wishful thinking to think this team is one trade away from anything. Just throw the towel. Trade Gausman, trade Springer, trade Bieber, trade Varsho, pile up the prospects and picks and prepare next season. They have very good free agent pieces to trade honestly.
