Exactly! blame this on Hoffman or the bullpen if you want. but if you can't score a more than 1 run or even worse 2 hits on a starter who has a 5+ era that's all on offence. They should sit Vlad for a few days. I don't understand why this has not happened yet. After that you sit Springer for a few days. Call up some kids. Do something. You're not gonna save the season with Sosa and Urias like players. As bad as Pinango is defensively Jays need the offense. Nothing against Babe but you can't have a sub 600 OPS guy in your lineup when your offense sit 22nd in the league.

That's because we just aren't a very good team. I don't see how they correct the ship either. Pretty much the whole team needs to be better. Varland, Clement and Rogers are pretty much teh only exceptions. This is a terribly flawed lineup and the only thing I keep hearing if we are looking for starters with term potentially. This isn't our year.
Management may be reluctant to do that, especially since the American League is so bad.
