Smith is better than Zucker on average and is his replacement.
Poehling's back is f***ed, and his production was crap here anyway.

If you're looking for reasons to be disappointed in Dubas, these aren't them.
Nobody actually knows what's up with Poehling, but it's a moot point because our media are idiots and Poehling signed with Philly anyway.

When your driving play with EK you don't need to defend........this is going to be like the 90s pens with a lot of 7-6 games

Poehling is a good cheap depth player, with potential.

We needed a winger, with Zucker here. So we need more than Smith.

Dubas is in the teams want to move players for cap space so see what shakes out. But like to see him actually fix the holes before adding to the complicated moves. Can't be tied up trying a complicated deal for Karlsson and trying to get that done while you have far more pressing needs. Buying out Granlund and having 20 million in cap space put you in a great position. F*** your view on buyouts. That was the move rather than dick around with complicated deals to include him.

Carter, Granlund and Petry are costing this team north of $14 million a year, and while the latter isn't in the same conversation as the first two, that's a whole lotta cash tied up in meh or downright awful players. Thanks again, Hexy!

no legit national guy has said anything about EK... it seems like fake accounts are talking about it and local guys are running with it
No national guys has said it’s close. But two national guys have said the Penguins are in on him. So I do believe they are in on him for sure

No doubt he has some kind of plan...
