Zucker at 1 year should have been a no brainer for us. I assume Dubas has a plan and is sticking to it.

Thankfully we got Smith but damn we are in need of some 3rd line players and a lot of good options are now gone.

I have confidence but Dubas better get on it. Remember 2012 / 2013 with Parise and Suter? Shero went all in and by the time he was finally told no, there was no one worthwhile to sign.

Idk. Karlsson would be a cool swing-for-the-fences move at the end of our competitive window. But it doesn’t mean jack when we have no bottom-6 or goalie.

Just look at our division rivals the Canes. They already lapped us on depth and now they snagged Orlov and Bunting on extremely fair contracts with minimal term.

I hope we at least grab Wood.

Zucker will be missed, good for him. Didn't think he would go to Arz but don't expect to him to be there after TDL. Free picks for Ariz

Idk I absolutely would not have paid Zucker $5.3 million to come back.

I don't care if it was only 1 year, that's way too much for what he'll realistically provide next year.

To think the Pens are division rivals with the Canes is being extremely generous to the Pens, and quite frankly, a bit offensive to Carolina.

Zucker signing for one year is weird to me until you look at the team in question.

Best of luck to him. I'd have liked him back honestly at such a low risk but with the roster how it is I have no idea where you really fit him in with the gigantic swarm of middle six forwards they've now collected.

Everyone of any note is gone.

Karlsson provides a big offense boost…but so would have going hard on Duchene and ROR and running this top-nine:

Guentzel-Crosby-Smith
Duchene-Malkin-Rust
Rakell-ROR-Granlund
