I don’t think Tarasenko is going to Carolina after what happened involving the firing of his agent, but we’ll see…I think the only way EK comes here is if he tells SJ that the Pens are the only team he’ll join lol

No one knows what is going on regarding Karlsson, so dooming over what could go wrong is pointless. Yes, the Canes could be trading Pesce to get the cap space to bring in Karlsson. Or they could be doing it to bring in cap space to bring in Tarasenko and DeAngelo. Or they could just be trying to maximize Pesce's value instead of risking losing him for nothing.

No one has any clue, so jumping to conclusions based on nothing but a tweet from a player's dad is pointless. Just be patient and wait to see how the trade actually goes down.

Yeah, that’s the main reason I don’t see EK traded here…we’re not getting out of Carter’s ironclad deal, and they probably have to attach good assets to move Petry or Granlund…just even moving one of these guys isn’t enough to get EK at $8M…

Yep. That only clears 6 mil. We're already 2.3M over with DOC unsigned.
The original post of that was made close to 24 hours ago. Would have happened by now, or at least there woulda been follow-up corroborating Tweets.

I'd be annoyed if we lost POJ. One of the few guys we have that has good odds of significantly outperforming his cap hit.
