I simply don't understand being outraged about grown men fighting... in a hockey game. But whatever.

I do not think Mike Sullivan should still be the HC of the Pittsburgh Penguins, or even the HC of the US National team, but it's hard to argue that he doesn't have the Americans playing well right now. We look like the better team.

But....but....I don't want to watch guys fighting over an anthem! That's totally the only reason why they're fighting, it's ruining good hockey because of it!

I think fighting is ridiculous 95% of the time. It's absurd when it's premeditated like it was tonight. It's embarrassing when it's three in succession like that.

The US does not need to play that way. They can play physical and heavy while still being able to use their skill. Even beyond the fighting, it was clear that they were trying to send a particular message. I don't care if it was about the anthems or just US/Canada hockey. It was bullshit.

The first three games of this tournament were fun, exciting hockey. Once the nonsense dissipated, this game has been fun.

I want skill in these tournaments, not a bunch of amateur brawlers.

Completely disagree.

Helleybuyck is such a massive advantage. Canada has no goaltending. US first goal was weak and Canada massively out chanced US before the Larkin goal but Helly was there.

Glad to see the US win, but kind of a meh game overall. McDavid was bad, Mackinnon was bad, Sid was bad and the top end talent on the US wasn't great either. Helly is an animal tho and the US team defense was legit
