Like you said - facts are facts. You can’t be butt hurt just because you don’t like them.

Loser mentality to not be able to decipher between the round robin and championship game. Not sure why the coping is required before the game is even played though..
Because if the US loses he can say he's always thought the tournament was dumb and that it doesn't matter.

Your team is strong and competitive. Why the pre-conceived excuse/coping?
It's telling isn't it. The pre game coping has already begun.

As an American who loves this team I'm anxiously confident for tonight 🤷🏼‍♂️

Makar back and no McAvoy physicality tonight is such a huge swing towards Canada. Add that to their experience in these kind of international games and you can flip a coin for tonight's winner.

Either way this tourney has been exactly what us die hard hockey fans have need after going 10 years without a true best on best competition. This appetizer for next year in Milan has been incredible and I hope the game in general makes lots of new fans from it.

Good Luck Canada and Go USA lets have another epic battle!

I’m going to apologize in advance for being a dick tonight. Canada has been the big brother for too long. Always the best team, always the best players and prospects and they always seem to win the games when it matters most. My gut says they stomp the U.S tonight but hoping our boys can come out and hold the line.

If it was just about the skaters, then I'd go for Canada, but Hellebuck has been near invincible. I can see him getting in the CDN player's heads. I don't see Binnington doing the same to USA, and i can definitely see him losing it. The guy is not the most stable.

Hellebuyck is the wildcard that can steal games. Worrisome for sure, but guys like McDavid, MacKinnon, Makar are also wildcards that can take over on any given night so no matter what, tonight will be a blast.

What a deal, only $7,327 a ticket..

The US teams certainly has a huge advantage in net and Binnington has a ton of pressure because he hasn’t been good this tournament.

Besides the goalies I think it’s going to come down to Canadas ability to adjust because the Americans executed very well against them last time, letting Canada on the outside where they had a tendency to overpass but the Americans did a great job of maintaining position and not opening up those seams the Canadians were looking to create. Canada will have to use their feet more, look to generate off the rush more and get to the middle of the ice as well.

Canada should play both Jarvis and Konecny, and take Stone out of the lineup. Guy is way too slow for the US game (and the tournament now) This is basically the fastest he's moved in 5 years and still can't keep up to the pace. I like the player, but not with the option available for this game.

He played pretty well with McDavid though. His ability to play off the walls and hit McDavid in stride was a huge difference compared to the Marner/Reinhart trial.

Your right... but puck control is at the highest in this game, not a ton of loose pucks on the walls in other words. Compared to say a normal non-playoff nhl game.

I still rather have konecny in.
