I'm very much hoping for a clean game Thursday and that all participants return to their respective NHL clubs in full health

In all seriousness, Thursday is a coin flip ....Matthews could very well show up or Marner could find away ....I'm not counting out any damn possibility at this point ...one thing for certain Binnington will let in at least one softie lol

Mathews even when looking listless is always capable of scoring with his shot, especially against Binnington. Doubt Marner will be much of a factor on 5x5, similar to Hughes he struggles because of his size when the intensity is ramped up.

Mathews hasn’t done squat offensively, but I’ve thought he’s been outstanding defensively and all he needs is one and I bet he gets two.
Flamed out as a coach but he was excellent with his color commentary during World Juniors. He has a future there.
Mathews is a solid defensive player, now as for coming through with a big goal in a big moment, well that would be surprising.

Asking him about his team mates playing who is he rooting for.Said he hoped they get hat tricks ( Chuck Brad).Announcer of course mentions Swayman is a goalie .Also said he wished Czechs were in it.
They just asked him who he will be cheering for on Thursday, of course he said he hopes both guys score 3 goals but he has no rooting interest. He also said that he would love to be playing in this tournament and that he's been watching it.
Yeah, I had high hopes for him as HC at Wisconsin. I didn’t realize he was out due to illness. Glad to have him back.
