Jack Hughes has been waaay worse than Matthews this tournament…..and he doesn’t have an injury excuse.

He is easy to push around.Loads of skill but if they get close to him they can bump him off pucks easier then others .He needs give & goes.

Both Tkachuks, Matthews, McAvoy all with minor knocks to some degree isn’t ideal. But it is what it is, and it isn’t an excuse.

I do think that they need to get Tage Thompson off the beach and on a plane to Boston, just in case…

Bruins get concession sales. That's it. All other revenue is split between PA and NHL.

JJ doesn’t even get 100% of playoff revenue. 35% goes to the NHL and 50% to the players share of HRR.

Yep. He’s not had a good tournament at all. Without question, the most disappointing US forward so far in this tournament.

Lost an edge on that awesome Boston ice and crashed into the net. Looked like he cracked the side of his ribs pretty good. Went down the tunnel, came back for a 15 second shift and then shut it down.

It does take some of the edge/juice out of the game though. I want to see the Tkachuk brothers get under the skin of Canadian players!

I am assuming a lot of it was just based around proximity. One Canadian site and one American so Montreal/Boston made sense in that regard. Limit the travel.

I suppose if this tournament continues in years where it's held in North America you could pair up the following cities:

Boston/Montreal
Toronto/Detroit
Winnipeg/St. Paul
Vancouver/Seattle

I could see something like that developing.
