Not gonna watch, but I am pouring maple syrup on my poutine in support of Canada tonight.

Will be watching, definitely. I'll time it just when the opening faceoff happens. This extra "orchestrated" hatred between Can\US though can make me turn it off in a split second.
I'm far from a chest thumping patriotic person, but my cheers will be set towards Canada.
I just want a great game, that's all, even if Canada loses.

This series is a win for the NHL. A big one.
Right now the NBA's Allstar game is getting majorly criticized of how much of a dud it is.

I know someone whose family owns a farm (or something) in Vermont and they allow someone to tap their trees to make and sell maple syrup. They don't even charge him cause they wouldn't do anything with them otherwise. But he gives them a ton of syrup and this guy gave me some of the latest batch once and it was the best syrup I ever had. Was too good to put on anything. Just had to eat it with a spoon.

I know he's the enemy tonight but I hope the garden does right by Marchand and boos every Canadian but him, though part of me feels he wants to be bood for the fun of it.

I thought booing was banned here but since you brought it up, Canadian players will be motivated if they boo, just like the Americans were in Canada.....so bring it on!

It always best to get it from the source, if you are lucky enough to know someone or live near a sugar bush. We are fortunate to live in the thick of that community. My friend's BIL is president of the maple syrup association, his maple syrup is heavenly.
