Didn't know where to post that, do you guys remember what year did Saku said infamously that the team wasn't good enough to win the cup? I'm trying to date an archive where someone makes reference to that event.

I believe it was the golf tournament right before the legendary 2007-2008 season.

What was wrong with him?
Following the 2021–22 season, after three seasons within the Canadiens organization, Vejdemo left as free agent. Having suffered a serious injury during the AHL playoff run with the Rocket, Vejdemo underwent surgery going un-signed into the 2022–23 season. In recovering from injury, Vejdemo belatedly signed an optional two-year contract in a return to hometown club, Djurgårdens IF, of the now HockeyAllsvenskan on 8 February 2023.[7]

Thanks for that!

I do recall him getting injure somewhat regularly but had no idea to the extent of his latest that had him sidelined for so long and then it appeared there was no longer any updates on him.Good to see that he's back and healthy and can remain so.

I'm happy to hear him say that, I never wanted him to leave either, he knew he was a God here to the fans when it was going well
I don't care what everyone had to say about him negatively, he had the skill and he had the swag, he was built to play here
And I loved him lol, miss him, I wish I could put him next to Suzuki-Caufield ffs lol

He was the player we wanted to watch the game for. What a show it was at times.

These were sad years where we lost Kovy for 500k, then later lose Markov which I cannot believe was not allowed to hit his 1000 game with the habs. Of all the shit, this one irks me biiig time... come on...

WE the public, rooted for Markov, our general... come on Bergie you cheapstake, a player has to know what an honor it would've been for the guy. I would've been thrilled to see a silver stick ceremony for Markie in a habs Jersey....

He's responsible for one of my favorite moment of all time, can you guess which one?
