Andrei Markov suspended from Russia hockey for 18 months for some bureaucratic mistake. He didn't submit one of the form for his retirement and was thus expected to take drug tests like a player (which he didn't).



Would be nice if that brought him back to NA.

Yannick Weber ended up having a pretty solid pro career in NA for a guy who wasn't blessed with the best tools in the world by a long shot. He didn't have size or particularily good skating on his side either. Goes to show a lot of more subtle things can factor into whether a prospect can make it or not in the big league .

Yannick Weber ended up having a pretty solid pro career in NA for a guy who wasn't blessed with the best tools in the world by a long shot. He didn't have size or particularily good skating on his side either. Goes to show a lot of more subtle things can factor into whether a prospect can make it or not in the big league .

His numbers in junior were comparable to Subban's, they played against each other in the Memorial Cup. Subban improved more and faster after that. Plus Subban was bigger and stronger.

Sad, he had finally found his spot in the Austrian league. He was even Captain for two years before he missed all of last year with what I assume was that knee injury.

I really miss Radulov... Imagine having Radulov instead Gallagher (I like the heart of Gally, but at 6,5 per year for 6 years, i'd prefer put that on player like Radulov).

Legend goalie Tony Esposito dies from cancer today.

Tony's a former Habs who played only 13 games with Habs. He then went to Chicago where he became a star and future fame
