Honestly I never thought those two actually looked all the great together. I would say Beauch was probably Fowlers most skilled partner he ever had.
The Ducks re-acquired Beauch at the 2011 deadline to play with rookie Fowler.
That trade worked out well.

A trade they shouldn't have had to make. Beauchemin wanted to re-sign with the Ducks, but he got hurt (torn ACL or MCL?) towards the end of the season and Murray wouldn't resign him, but then had to give up assets to reacquire Beauchemin. Bad asset management by Murray.

Perry was a healthy scratch for the hawks and is not with the team anymore.

Wonder if they're going to trade him, reunion with the lightning perhaps?

I could be reading too much into it, but it seems like it's something else.

Not exactly reassuring...especially since it's the Blackhawks.

You figure if it's a fairly "innocent" reason like an illness or family matters, they'd make it pretty clear. This is decidedly grey.

Mrazek is also missing practice for reasons unknown.

Really strange situation, seems like the players and coaches are just as in the dark as anyone.

Blackhawks being a disaster is great. Bring Perry home and let him hang up the skates here!

so was last season a fluke for him? or is there a reason why his numbers have dropped back down to his career norm?

Last season he got more prime offensive minutes especially when Mcavoy was out at the start of the year. Haven't checked the numbers but the team as a whole also was scoring more last year.
