Come on manTwo of his goals were right in front of the net. Sherwood has been a great addition but would you turn down another Sherwood?

Watched a few shifts the other day and can confirm there's still zero commitment to the two-way game. It's quite remarkable how clueless he is in the defensive zone.
He will probably will get one more look by an NHL team, but really needs to be situated on an elite team with guys that can pick up the slack. He has the skill to be a lethal finisher. Maybe Edmonton or Tampa sign him?
Bad team scorer. Would be great next to Bedard.
Come on man
Both. We are calling Sherwood Burrows lite rn which is such a huge compliment to SherwoodI'm trying to figure out whether you really take issue with what I wrote or just wanted to tell a joke.

When we traded Podkolzin, he was either on par or below Sprong, Hoglander, Bains, Sherwood, Karlsson, Bains, PDG on the winger depth chart.
And that's without mentioning the sure fire guys like Joshua, Boeser, Garland, Heinen, DeBrusk who had claimed 5/6 of the top nine winger roles.
I thought this, but this absolutely was not the prevailing sentiment. People really thought he could turn it around — also it’s not as if it was a horrible bet because he was very easily moveable.Well they didn't need to sign Sprong if what they wanted out of him isn't that of an offence-only 4th line winger. Thinking that he would either be a top 6 fit or bottom 6 fit under Tocchet is clearly a mistake that most everyone here foresaw.
Joshua was out for some time, Karlsson and Bains didn't require waivers, and PDG is older and clearly not a solution. Maybe the Canucks thought they would pick up a Lafferty type with the 4th? I suppose that I just saw Pods as among the team's top 13 forwards. A don't think Karlsson and Bains showed that he was better than Pods last season, especially in a 4th line role.
