Meanwhile the Jets seen to consider kickers to be a higher priority than wide receivers.

Really? Adams was never leaving GB when Rodgers stayed. And you want Allen Robinson on that deal? Dude got passed up by Darnell Mooney.

Meanwhile they kept Berrios, who everyone thought was leaving, and signed 2 very capable blocking and receiving tight ends.

One more thing. They should sign a kicker who can actually kick. The last one they had was Myers who they spent years trying to replace.

What? The Jets are infamous for not having a competent kicker. Every year they seemingly lose games to save a nickel on a kicker. Nick Folk still going strong.

You really think Adams was signing here long term? It’s not a coincidence that he’s going to play with his old college QB.

Jets have neglected WR which reeks of drafting one in round 1 which has become a great value these days.

I wasn't expecting the Jets to do anything with either player. That's the point. WR is a premier position in the NFL but the Jets still treat it like a fullback and we wonder why our offense stinks. There were 10 4000 yard passers in the league last year while Jets have had only a single 4000 yard passer in 60 years. The Jets don't even have 10 3000 yard passers in the last 20 years!

hey Joe Douglass the GOAT just signed a couple of slightly above average DBs, what more do you want?? Jets might be a 5 win team this year, progress!

Brownies say hold my beer as they give the Texans 3 firsts+ to get deshaun watson and sign him to a 5/$230 million fully guaranteed deal. Any good QBs left in the NFC besides Ridgers?

Not a Jets fan but would love to see Hill with the Jets. Being a Bronco fan I've seen enough of him and Kelce.

Oh well, at this rate, you still have 4 and 10 in Round 1 and two high 2nds.

Just take London early. I don't like either Ohio St. WR. If not London, wait for Round 2 for a WR and get an edge rusher and maybe Sauce Gardner

Not sure i like my fins giving up 5 picks including 1 and 2 this year..
I guess i wont be watching the draft..
Will be an interesting season tho

Jets didn't even offer a first. They are never seious when it comes to signing difference makers especially at WR. But at least they signed a fullback.

Where did u see that? I saw the jets offered the 10th overall pick and “more”

Edit: just saw that espn listed that. I read the SNY article where it said the Jets were willing to include the number 10 pick

Key words: Had in place

The Chiefs were accepting either deal, depended on where Hill wanted to go. He had a no trade clause

Hill did not have a no-trade clause. Part of the trade was the contract offer since a trade wouldn't happen with out one in place.

The Jets offered more value than the Dolphins based on the chart. The Jets didn't have to offer #10.

Those two high 2nd round picks.

Hill wanted to play at home.

Hill's contract would have worked with Wilson's rookie contract. It's hard to pay a big QB and a big WR. The Packers couldn't pay both Rodgers and Adams. The Chiefs couldn't both Mahomes and Hill. The Chargers have Allen and Big Mike Williams but Herbert is on a rookie deal. The Raiders can pay Adams and Carr because Carr makes 'only" $25M.

Everybody refers to "the chart" but most people are referring to Jimmy Johnsons draft value chart from 30 years ago! Is there a more recent chart that everyone uses?

Yeah there are a few that I've seen in recent years, but they tend to use the same basic logic for the most part and generally don't deviate too much from each other. Someone may have some radical new thing but I haven't seen it.
