Yes. He threw more interceptions (220) than touchdowns (173). He averaged 17 interceptions a year and eclipsed 20 five times in his career. He led the league in interceptions four times during his career—1966 (27), 1967 (28), 1974 (22), and 1975 (28). He played in 129 games and only won 62. He had a .48% career winning %.

He only averaged 10 games a year throughout a 13-year career. He completed 17 out of 28 passes for 206 yards and was named the Super Bowl's Most Valuable Player. However, he did not throw one touchdown pass, or any passes at all in the fourth quarter. He almost retired after the SB to go into business, and I wish he had.

I got so much second hand embarrassment by the 80 year old calling WFAN today and asking Tiki and Evan who was better Rodgers or Namath.

Reading that, it's no wonder he's here -- fits our QB personna to a T!!

Man, the Giants really have had just an unbelievably good offseason so far. I am so pumped.

What an absolute f***ing sideshow. Holy mother of f***.

Well, now we have it from two people (one on the record) that he's a Sandy Hook conspiracy theorist. I know we can't go into that since it's politics, but it has to be mentioned.

I don't even know what to say. I would flat out release him over that, but no way could they do that - the fans would riot.

f*** me. What a sideshow. He's just such an absolute piece of shit.

Real talk, you don’t find it strange that this news comes up 11 YEARS after the fact and on the day it’s rumored that he might be on a presidential ticket? I’d reserve judgment until either he responds to it directly or we get some other form of proof.

Your life changes as soon as you get mentioned as a possible political figure, especially when you would be running to be the 2nd in command of the biggest job in the world.

I also don’t think his tweet really denied what the story says he said either. All he had to do was say he wasn’t running for VP as soon as the times story came out, but he loves the attention.

That article you shared is from today?

Yeah it wasn't a story until today/yesterday whenever it broke.

CNN looks worse than Rodgers here, publishing the healdine families will see for some clicks over a "story" that he told someone these allgeged beliefs over a decade ago.

I think there's a good chance it's true, but it's not like he was putting it out in the public domain and tweeting it or talking about it in interbiews, which is where actual damage comes from, the families having to hear it like Alex Jones repeatedly did.

Im not an Aaron Rodgers fan but that story may be more about CNN and their like than Rodgers. The media is less beliavable than a Bern trade at times. I think Rodgers wore a decal on his helmet honoring the kids 12 years ago among other things.

The sticking point is that he has never acknowledged people actually died that day. He has referred to the shootings as ‘an event’, but that’s as far as he’s gone.

Is anyone really surprised about the Sandy Hook thing? Aaron Rodgers is pretty much every conspiracy theorist we know thinking he's smarter than everyone. He's the bernmeister of the NFL.

Agreed. Lying about being Covid vaxxed showed his character.

I don't know. Seems strange people of 1 political leaning push this now when this youtube video was Rodgers speaking 12 years ago nevermind the decal he had on his helmet in tribute to them.

Helmet decals are a team decision.
I doubt anyone was forcing Rodgers to do anything against his own beliefs. I dont like the guy but this smells like political garbage to me. If you show me video where Rodgers says that those kids were not shot by Adam Lanza I will agree with you 100%. Just show me actual proof not inuendo and I will 100% agree since I don't like Rodgers anyway.

Helmet decals are a team decision.

Good thing the Giants won those last two meaningless games of the season!

Idiots.

Chicago, Washington, NE all likely to take QB's 1-2-3.

At this rate Marvin Harrison's kid may even be around at 6. Take him, Rome, or Nabers (in that order for me) and call it a day.

Run Lock for the year and see what he has. If the line improves he could be decent, but the team is still going to be 6-11 or 7-10 at best.

I hope Ewers doesn't blow a knee in his senior year. Fingers crossed for him in 2025:rolleyes:
