Schoen doing work here folks. Took the money for Barkley and McKinney and spent it on a position of actual value - pass rusher. And Burns is a pass rusher, lemme tell ya.

Offensive line now looks viable, at least. Even with Neal at RT.

Singletary is an acceptable RB1 or handcuff with another back.

All in all not too shabby patching of the proverbial holes.

I see Russell Wilson as a glass half full half empty situation. They got Russ for the vet minimum and he's better than Pickett. The problem is by TD% Pickett is the worst QB in NFL history. How  much better than Pickett is Russ gonna be?

Zach Wilson is the 10th worst ever.

Jets are incometent.
Nothing else needed.
Did they do anything? Often first day guys have the most guys overpaid.

My own unprovable theory. Barkley and X let their unhappiness with their contract situations be known too often in the locker room last season

While he seems like he’s also always hurt, it’s nice Joe Douglas finally thought getting a backup quarterback was important.

Agreed. Rodgers is overrated. He's won as many conference titles as Rex Grossman, one. He doesn't like to throw more than 20 yards, because 1 SB and regular season stats are all he has. Although he will be, he shouldn't be a first ballot HoFer with only one conference title.
How many did Dan Marino have?

Giants fans need to grow up about the Barkley thing. He's a nothing player in Giants history. His legacy is injuries and losing. Nothing more. He's not moving the needle in Philly.

It’s interesting how often the word “legacy” came up in the will he/won’t discussions about Saquon signing with the Giants because it’s like……what legacy lol. Nothing was accomplished.

The Saquon era giants are literally the worst teams in franchise history. Obviously that’s not his fault as he’s not building the team.

But it isn’t even like a Barry Sanders or Calvin Johnson scenario where this transcendent talent is having his hall of fame numbers wasted on bad teams. Saquon had a truly excellent rookie season and two other good years. The rest was a mishmash of injuries and poor play.

I think Saquon is a good player and I like him a lot as a person but I’d be lying if I said I would look back on his giants tenure with any kind of warm and fuzzy feelings. I think this divorce was in both parties best interest.

I have never seen a couple of FA days at any position like this year with running backs. Its like they took 20 running backs names and threw them in the air and said play for whoever picks up your name.

I lost a lot of respect for him as a person when he shit on a TRUE Giants legend, Tiki. All Tiki has done was praise and defend the guy. As soon as this douche moves to Philly he shits on Tiki. I don't even care that he took the money in Philly. It's a business. But shitting on Tiki was completely out of line. Forget Tiki Saquon is not a pimple on Tiki's ass. He's not even OBJ.

He’s not Barry Sanders, but he’s really really good.

I feel like the Eagles O-line won’t be as dominant as it has been recently but Saquon is capable of doing serious damage behind it with the receiving weapons that team has.
