The Jets have 9 TDs in 10 games. A college D couldn't play in the NFL but I'd take GA's O over the Jets O.

The Jets should have 1 win if they didn’t get a miracle vs the Giants, and 9 million turnovers vs the Eagles and Bills.

I never understood this fixation on tanking in the NFL. When has it ever worked?

Meanwhile the giants have the most recent title of the 9 major sports teams in the area.

Ahhh yes because going 4-13 vs. 2-15 is a much more of a winning strategy. Barkley is probably not even going to be a Giant next year.

I had an argument with someone on Facebook the other day who said that Wilson is better this year than Rodgers was last year. And this is why social media is the worst thing in the world.
Rangers fans during the pandemic season was exhibit #2 in this case.

#1 is the current state of the world. I'll leave it at that.

Giants fans are extremely spoiled (and I am one). If the Rangers could ever become half of what they are and win a championship every other decade as opposed to once a decade, I think we'd all sign up for it.

Instead people still moan about Gettleman like they're Captain Ahab.

Do you think you're spoiled every season the Giants aren't competitive from game 1? I just don't get this line of thinking that 4 championships absolved the team of being the worst franchise in the league over more than a decade.

As a Rangers fan, we've seen so many second round max outs, and finally from the 90s-2020s a healthy amount of Division Titles, President's Trophy, and ECF appearances.

If the team wins a Cup with Lavy in the next three years and goes into Dark Ages 3.0 (I'm counting post WW II as the first unofficial one), I will sign up for that.

I'd rather have my team win a championship once a decade and be completely useless the other nine years, than being a bridesmaid but pretty darn good indefinitely.

I am as frustrated by the Giants as any team I've rooted for, however I knew coming into the season it's year two of a rebuild, and the schedule was brutal. I'm not going to rage every Sunday or curse out Daniel Jones like some people on social media love to do.

This is going to be controversial but I've enjoyed being a Rangers fan since 2005 more than a Giants fan. The Giants have had a nice stretch from 2005 - 2011, the Rangers have been a good team all but a couple of years all that time. And when they weren't a playoff team they were mediocre not bottom of the barrell awful. Those two Covid year Quinn teams sucked and were frustrating but they at least had some fun games. The Giants are just horrible to watch year in and year out, even the two fluke playoff teams in 2016 and 2022. This is where I overlap with Machinehead. I want to be entertained. It's much more entertaining to watch good teams for two decades that don't win it all than a team that had two hot months and then endless misery.

I watch to have fun and be entertained as well. For me entertaining comes from style and the players. It was nice to win the 1990 Superbowl vs the Bills but that style was not nearly as much fun as the 1986 game vs the Broncos.

f*** that shit!

I don't want the Giants to be like the Cowboys: barn burners in the regular season , yet the Jacksonville Jaguars have more success in the playoffs. Approaching 30 years of futility.

Ask them. Ask how it feels to win the division only for it to go up in smokes once the postseason hits.

The Rangers have been playoff caliber for the last 17, 18 years. We made it to the ECF twice and made it to the big dance once.

And so what?

If the Rangers had to suck for the next 10 years but it guaranteed us a Stanley Cup the following year, sign me the f*** up!

Here, take my right testicle; the lumpy, bumpy, hairy one!

I much rather be a Cowboys fan than a Giants fan, not even including the 90s.

I've always enjoyed being a Rangers fan....with the exception of when they're shooting themselves in the foot at the draft or doing dumb things.

To me, winning is the most fun. If they turn into the Lemaire Devils (they sort of did with later Renney and some of those Torts teams) and can win championships, I'm fine with it.

I think most of us would sign up for a reversal of the two teams where the Giants become pretty to very good, and the Rangers can win a championship every now and then.

Those two Super Bowls vs. the Patriots are the only championships I've seen as an adult so I'm grateful for them and not rooting for all teams like the Brewers or Chargers.

Well the Rangers winning a couple of championships would mean more because of the best of 7 format. The Giants don't win in a best of 7 format.

I’d say we all want to be the Peyton Manning Colts. Only one SB but for a decade plus they were contenders. Bottomed out, got their QB, then went back to being contenders.

Different in football since it’s all about the QB. If the Rangers sneak in a Cup soon, that would be similar to the Colts. We made some unbelievable runs with Henrik, retooled, now making runs with Igor.

But end of the day being 6 years old when they won a Cup, Jets never winning, Yankees success when I was a kid, I would much rather be a Giants fan with a few SBs.

The 1986 Superbowl was the best for me. I liked the style of play. I liked the players. I also liked that we built up to it. You could see the progress. It wasn't just a fluke. We had to get over the 49ers hump and we did 49-3.
