It wasn't even the Raiders. They beat the 11-5 Browns and 10-6 Rams that year as their only two wins
The Rams....that's who I was thinking about.

What's your hat made of?If the Eagles, Cowboys, or Niners don't win the Super Bowl I'll eat my hat.
Ravens and Lions are going to have a big say in what happens, but this is a big NFC year and those three teams need to be in the NFC Championship game. Of course only 2 can go (still banking on a SF/PHI re-match). If the Lions win a singular playoff game that city might explode, so they may have expectation to go far, but if they make the divisional round and lose to one of these three teams, you can't be too upset beyond the moment. If the Eagles, Cowboys, or Niners don't win the Super Bowl I'll eat my hat.

Stupid Giants are going to end up 6th just outside the window of Maye/Williams, Harrison, and the two top offensive tackles unless they trade up.idiot giants are gonna fall out of the QB race
IDK, the coaching no doubt sucks but you make him inactive and then there's no potential that he has to go in when Boyle gets killed on the second series. Or much less potential, anyway. Boyle is also horrible so if he goes in and is like 2-11 for 18 yards at halftime there's also no worries about going to the backup when that's Semien instead of Wilson.I know Jets fans are down on Zach but to go from starting all season to inactive is also a statement on coaching. They could not see Zach had issues previously and he went from #1 to #3 in a week?
Its just strange optics. A week ago he was good enough to start but today he is not good enough to dress? I'm not bashing the decision. Just reminds me of a Bill Parcells line. If you say you have 3 QBs that means you really have none.IDK, the coaching no doubt sucks but you make him inactive and then there's no potential that he has to go in when Boyle gets killed on the second series. Is it not blatantly obvious that Saleh had a mandate from the FO to try and salvage such a high draft pick? Its just strange optics. I get what you're saying but I think the Jets are beyond the point where optics really matter. The national media knows they suck, the local media knows they suck, the fans of the team know they suck. Everyone is basically just trying to keep their jobs as best they can. All of the optics surrounding the team are bad right now.Its just strange optics. A week ago he was good enough to start but today he is not good enough to dress? I'm not bashing the decision. You never know but I think that road was unlikely when they basically ran over Zack like a pothole to trade for Rodgers. I think Saleh hoped Zach was good enough and better than the rest. He might be. I just think its funny going straight from 1 to 3 instead of letting Zach be the back up.Is it not blatantly obvious that Saleh had a mandate from the FO to try and salvage such a high draft pick?
Jets defense is still good enough to win games but that may not be the teams main objective anymore.I get what you're saying but I think the Jets are beyond the point where optics really matter. They're cutting guys, the "marquee" free agent signing is getting benched, and most people have already moved on to a discussion about whether it would make sense for Rodgers to come back this year with the Jets eliminated (when they're not even eliminated, but we all know they're lucky to have 2 wins left in them).
