Unlike most previous games, I actually thought Zach played well enough to win yesterday. The supporting cast is atrocious, and I'm not crazy about the play calling.

I'm not saying Zach is the answer by any stretch, but the Jets offense has a lot more problems than just Zach. Lazard is atrocious. Uzomah has done nothing in two years. Cobb is washed. Gipson is inexperienced. Not even Breece can run behind that OL. Garrett Wilson and an occasional catch from Conklin is all they've got.

How Douglas never went out and added another option once Aaron went down is unforgivable. Even Colt McCoy or Nick Foles with a few weeks to learn the playbook could have at least given you another solid option. Simien is fodder. Dobbs would've been ideal, but I'm not even asking for that.

Me too but I feel like those SBs don't help right now.
Very few teams can sustain success over a long period of time. Only 3 teams played in more super bowls than the Giants since 1983. But there are a lot more teams that can manage to sustain suckiness. Drafting consecutive hall of fame QBs can make you competitive every year for a long time but the packers for example don't have the titles to show for it.

You can always be a viking fan,

I'd take mediocrity but this is something else.

Man, Barkley's hardball negotiations really f***ed a lot of stuff up for the Giants. It would've been so much better having Jones on the tag (which was the plan, apparently) and sign Barkley to a $12-ish or so M deal.

f***. Barkley just steps on rakes with every single financial decision he makes.

I'm just happy that the Giants are total shit even when he's playing.

There were some fans saying the Giants played better with Jones out and Barkley being in.

At least the sentiment is for the team to go scorched earth on all our offensive players.

I mean, Barkley will be back next year. We have two full tags left since the first tag was technically rescinded the way the deal was done.

I am just so glad that we can get out of Jones after next year very easily. Thank f***ing God. Such a trash pick. And you could tell that he just was not listening to the staff at all. So glad he'll be gone. Truly one of my least favorite Giants of all time.

I'd move on from Barkley. Injuries or not he's way too competitive to want to stick around this shit show. I'd do him a solid and let him go.

Tyrod is ineligible to comeback until the Packers game at the earliest so I think it’s still very likely they lose those games. A Tommy Devito led offense is not real.

I'm really hoping Joe Schoen and Mara come to Daboll and tell him his job is safe and they he needs to start TD till the end of the year.

If Wilson struggles this weekend and Saleh doesn't replace him, Douglas needs to tell Saleh to replace him or he'll be fired. And if Douglas allows Saleh to stick with Wilson then he should be fired, too.

I assume both guys are safe through the season and that Douglas is probably safe for next season. Woody will let him have a year with Rodgers. He doesn't deserve it but I think that's how it will be. They'll probably fire Saleh and let Rodgers pick the head coach. At this rate it will probably be f***ing Hackett.

Part of me wants to say everyone should be fired ASAP and they should tear it all down regardless of Rodgers. But that's all this franchise ever does. I guess you give a 40 year old Rodgers one year to do something.
