OK, so I needed a day to recover, but that game was worse than the Giants game. So glad the tickets were gifted and I didn't spend actual money on that. The OL is terrible. Wilson is terrible. The coaching (OC!!!!) is terrible. It is a combination of all three. Just...sigh. Had a good time at the stadium otherwise, though.

To the question of fandom, my dad brought me up a Rangers/Jets fan and we're all from Manhattan. No one has ever lived in any other borough. My family is mostly Jets (one Giants fan), mostly Mets (two Yankees fans), and the one everyone agrees on is the Rangers.

Giants Oline has 3 solid linemen but Evan Neal and a couple of others have been flat out dangerous.

Zach stinks and the line stinks. He’s fine if he can throw in under 2.5 seconds to his first read, the problem is mass panic sets in when his first read is covered. He also looks like he has horse blinders on, he never feels pressure.

Neal is just shocking. Like trending towards Alex Leatherwood. New regime hated him and cut him. Then the Bears got rid of him too.
Neal was supposed to be the OT who was solid at both run and pass block. Carolina got the road grater as the run blocker, while Seattle got the best pass blocking OT.

Alabama has produced good OL, but some stinkers as well in the past decade with Saban. Willis in Cleveland is a hit, Dickerson with Philly, but the Jonah Williams for Cincy has been injured a lot and they bring in Olando Brown, Leatherwood and Neal. These are top 2 round picks, not day 3 guys.

Imagine how dangerous Neal would be if he still played Left Tackle. Its shocking he was drafted #7

He was rated in that trio of OT with the Cross and the NC State kid who went to Carolina. I think every mock draft had him going before the teens. OT is a premium position. Like I said, Bama has produced some hits, but some misses on the OL high in the draft.

I think Joe wanted the guy in Carolina but had them as 1a and 1b

The Jets OL sucks and the injuries are insane but it’s not an excuse for Wilson. He sucks. He’s sucked since day 1 and never gotten better.

He can’t read a defense. He’s got the same numbers he’s had for 3 years. He doesn’t improve. He’s scared to throw deep. He checks down and wants out.

He’s not going to wake up. He is who he is. He could have the all time best OL out there and it won’t matter bc he’s checking down or bolting in 2 seconds

I don’t even know what to say for it either. He was the player I wanted at that spot. I thought it was a good pick. The NFL universe praised it as a good pick.

It’s crazy that it isn’t even a case of a guy not as good as you’d want. It’s that Neal is straight up terrible. Like an active detriment to the offense.

He can have a dozen or so decent snaps especially running plays but gets totally lost 2-5 times a game pass blocking to the point it becomes dangerous. Bad ballance. Bad technique. Bad play recognition. Tyre Phillips a practice squad player looks safer at right tackle then Neal the last 1.5 seasons. Will he turn out to be a waste as the #7? Can a good coach salvage his career? Can he be traded for even a 3rd? Huge disappointed so far. A QB killer.

The jets have scored 3 TDs on offense in their last 4 games. None on Monday. Against the Giants a 50 yard checkdown to Hall with some woeful tackling by the Giants. The score against the Eagles where they ceded the endzone. Hall ran one for 70 against Denver.

Not even close to being an NFL offense

Cards need to win this f***ing game.

Giants need to maximize this tank job.

Gotta have a top 2 pick if you are deploying a QB who still lives with his parents
