Steve Gelbs has had it.
Pretty funny, they literally have nothing to say because it’s just them repeating everything they say every stupid week.

The end zone might as well be on MarsJets actually win this game if they score 3 more tds and a 2 point conversion.
In the last 5 seasons, only four teams have scored 8 or fewer offensive touchdowns through 8 games:
2019 Jets
2020 Jets
2023 Giants
2023 Jets
There’s a lot of crazy Jets offense stats that display their yearly ineptitude but that might be my favorite one. We really do this every year. The most putrid, no fun, unwatchable brand of bad football. There’s nothing enjoyableIn the last 5 seasons, only four teams have scored 8 or fewer offensive touchdowns through 8 games:

Jets still have a chance at playoffs. Still 9 games to go and they have a top 5 defense. There’s a lot of crazy Jets offense stats that display their yearly ineptitude but that might be my favorite one. We really do this every year. I think it is all three. I also think that right now the OL is the biggest culprit, because it prevents any kind of real gameplan from being successful and gives Wilson no chance. Then I'd say it's Hackett, whose play calling defies all logic. Wilson might be the least culpable at this point, which is scary because he's terrible. Is it hackett?
The o/line
Wilson
I cant tell anymore. It might be all three

They can but people have a mind of their own. I just think this isn't green bay or pittsburgh where your team seems like your entire identity. In NY I think the old affinities have been dying out the last few decades. I ride the LIRR fairly often and I see every jersey, even the devils.Do you think its possible that the older generations often pass on their team loyalties to their kids? My dad was a Knicks, Rangers, and Giants guy who grew up in Brooklyn. So am I despite growing up on LI.
Yup. He will likely do better hitting his first and maybe second read, but otherwise he stands no chance. The dreams of him shifting around in the pocket for a few seconds and then throwing bombs to Wilson down the field, it's not going to happen with this line. And i dont think Rodgers will be successful if he comes back because of that line . Dude is a pylon.
There will always be outliers. In my family my dad, stepmom, and 2 brothers all rooted for the same 4 teams but I was a Yankee fan not a Mets fan so I was the outlier in my family. On LI in the 1980's it was about 50% Rangers fans and 50% Islander fans. I have no idea how that is now though, NYC was overwhelmingly NY Rangers back then. They can but people have a mind of their own. My parents are from brooklyn - dad was a yankee fan mom was a dodger fan. They were both NY football giant fans but that wasn't such a big deal.
My family are all islander fans except for me. Some people think Queens is on LI so should be islander country but the Isles logo is only nassau and suffolk and excluded queens and brooklyn.
My sister's in laws include brothers one is a jet fan the other is a giant fan. Don't think they care about baseball or hockey. One of my nephews at least will likely be a patriots/red sox fan due to a sports intermarriage.
I can't think of one QB -- past or present -- who will survive behind the Jets' o-line. You cannot be successful without a ground game -- I know I must be wrong, but the last time I remember Jets being successful on the ground was when Curtis was here. (When was the last time Jets had a 100-yard rusher in a game.....hell, when was last time Jets as a team ran for 100+.)Yup. That being said, defenses can just sit because they know Jets will attempt to throw 8 out of 10 times but NEVER down field....so it seems they blitz on every play...there are no receivers open and O-line can't buy them the extra time to see if receivers can separate.
Until they fix that line and the running game, Jets are going nowhere.

No idiot, they didn’t score 1.
Wilson might make the line look worse by having no awareness, but the line is still objectively awful. It was the team's biggest question mark coming into the season and all they've done is lose guys to injury and see others play unexpectedly awful like Becton. They're basically running out backups at most positions or guys are lining up in spots that they either never have or rarely have before. It's a total shit show. The offensive line was a gamble that failed and then crashed into a ditch and caught on fire. I don't buy for a second that "any competent QB" would be "fine" behind this line. Some guys might be able to make it work, but they're not going to be "fine."I think any competent QB would be fine behind the Jets o-line. When you have a guy at QB who has no awareness and terrible decision making it makes everything appear significantly worse.
The last time the Jets had a 100 yard rusher was literally four weeks ago.
Thanks....I totally missed that stat.I think any competent QB would be fine behind the Jets o-line. When you have a guy at QB who has no awareness and terrible decision making it makes everything appear significantly worse.

We will give you Evan Neal for a 3rd round pick and a coupon to McDonalds.Wilson might make the line look worse by having no awareness, but the line is still objectively awful. I just don't understand how the Jets line can be so bad after multiple 1st rounders, a 2nd rounder, a signed Pro Bowl guard the year before, and old but once Pro Bowl LT. Someone, I can't remember who, is actually running Chuma Edoga out there as a starter and the OL is competent.
Even worse is the Twitter post by Conner Hughes. How can Dobbs run an offense he's never even practiced with better than what they put out? How can an undrafted Division 2 QB move the ball down field all game and we get nothing against one of the worst defenses in the league?
How would you characterize the Jets offensive line? Both at the start of the season and now that half of them are on IR? Average, above average, below average? Something else?Because it’s not the o-line. When you have a terrible QB it makes everything look worse
