We've discussed this forever in various threads. I think it was true back when the jets played in queens and to a lesser extent when they practiced in Hofstra. The jets moved 40 years ago. So maybe for the older generations but not so much the newer generations.

That's my $0.02.

Do you think its possible that the older generations often pass on their team loyalties to their kids? My dad was a Knicks, Rangers, and Giants guy who grew up in Brooklyn. So am I despite growing up on LI.
