Is this a joke or a real comment? Jet whiffed on Sanchez Darnold and Wilson with top 5 picks in the span of 13 drafts and Zach is by far the worst and as a punchline makes the Sanchez butt fumble, and Darnold's seeing ghosts look like overplayed cat videos. Even Joe Namath our biggest homer is done with him.

His nickname should be wrong way Wilson.

I keep reading former players and current players shit on Jones and his contract. I've literally never seen any QB in the history of the NFL having to deal with this. Laveon Bell, Donovan McNabb, a bunch of 49ers. That's just off the top of my head. They've called him trash and not worthy of his contract. That quote from Namath is child's play and he's a former Jet it hits differently. It's like if Phil Simms or Carl Banks had a post like that. Comparing that benign quote from a former Jet to the stuff said about Jones is assinine.

Shitting on a contract is in no way the same thing as shitting on a player. If the Mets gave Pete Alonso Aaron judge money everyone would be shitting on the contract and rightly so.

I mean Laveon Bell called him trash or something similar. And yes players spewing off to the media about other players' contract is shitting on a player. I've never heard of players publicly criticizing other players' contracts before.

Donovan McNabb literally said "I'm not a big Daniel Jones fan". But yeah it's not personal.

People post weekly memes about Lamar Jackson’s contract. Everyone’s flipping out bc Burrow signed a contract and “now he sucks!” Kyler Murray sucks. Lamar takes more shit than Jones will ever take.

This literally happens with every Qb who signs a big contract. This crusade on how badly Jones is treated is bonkers.

We get it. You think jets are the darlings of the world and the giants are treated very bad. You’re doubling down on like 10 bad opinions trying to make this argument stick

Bell thought Barkley should have been paid a king's ransom. An RB overvaluing an injury prone RB against a mobile QB who singlehandidly kept drives alive and had virtually no receivers.

How many games into this season did it take for Saquon to sit on the sidelines? Ask Bell again if still atands by those comments.

Listening to sports radio this week, and Saleh is getting absolute roasted by everyone.

It’s nice to hear that many are even past roasting Zach, because it’s not even his fault at this point.

Saleh continuing to throw him out there, and then coming in front of the media and just lying straight through his teeth at us and just refusing to face reality is the real issue.

Definitely an Emperor has no clothes moment for Bobby .

Only issue now is that too many guys are still supportive of the GM, who may be even more culpable.

That should be turning around soon as well.

The pressure is definitely being turned up.

The GM deserves more blame than the coach. Not that the coach is good, he’s not, and sounds like Joe Judge more and more everyday, but the GM gave the coach Tim Boyle as his other choice. Tim Boyle would be worse than Zach, as hard as that is to believe.

Now in 2-3 weeks, if he’s still going with Zach, and he’s just as dreadful, I’ll blame the coach for not changing with Trevor here now.

Sports radio is destroying the Jets this week. Sentiment is that their handling of the current ZW situation makes no sense unless they are actively tanking the season.

What do most Jets fans want to do?

Just walk away totally from Zach after making him the #2 pick in the draft?

Sit him for now hoping that he learns and try again in the future?

Who do you want to play QB this week and the rest of the season?

It’s been over for Zach since last year, his pick status means nothing anymore. Teams move on, the Niners gave up a ton for Lance, and took nothing back from Dallas.

The Cards dumped Josh Rosen after a year. The Cards will probably dump Kyler Murray this off-season if they wind up with a good enough pick.

Fields will be done in Chicago this off-season.

The rookie QB contract is the most important thing in the sport, you have to know by year 4 if these guys are the future.

He at least tried to be nice about it.

Doesn't really matter whether they trade him or not. He just shouldn't play. Nobody would give anything for him anyway.
I think he would bring back at least a 6th but maybe a 5th. Usually going to be a bargain hunter willing to try to fix a 3rd year QB drafted that high.

No one would take him. He'll have to accept a league minimum salary likely if anyone even takes him in. He's so bad that he may actually end up in the USFL/XFL. He is completely broken right now.

This season establishes that not only is Wilson not a starter, he’s a historically bad backup.

You're not thinking in reality. Wilson has zero value.
Ive seen guys that are basically retired traded for a 6th. A QB that has basically played less than 2 years will get a return. Trey brought back a 4th. Darnold returned a 2nd, 4th and 6th

Not seeing it. Wilson is way more likely to be cut in the off season than traded. There is close to a zero % chance another NFL team gives up an asset for him.
