Lol, yea Tiki Barber and Shaun Morash noted Jets fans.
Shaun Morash is not much of a presence, he's not a host. Tiki lets Evan dictate everything they talk about. Evan is the alpha on that team. Meanwhile Brendon Tierney was going crazy off the win against the Bills about how the Jets are unkillable and then shit on the Giants after a historic comeback all of last week.

With several first string QBs injured, it just shows how Jets fans wanting/expecting to nab a backup from another team for a late round pick was probably just not realistic.

What are peoples opinion's on Brandon Staley (Chargers) going for it on 4 and 1 on their own 24 yard line, with a 4 pt lead at just under 2min left?

Why do you care so much about what other people think

Coach is saying the right thing. Doesn't help to throw your QB under the bus before any replacement is ready.

It really sucks that this Jets roster is going to get bled dry by Zach f***ing Wilson.
can't even blame Zach WIlson. Yeah he sucks. But its not his fault they keep throwing him out there every posession, I'm sure at this point he's begging to be benched lol.

A QB this bad would not get so many chances im a competent organization.

The way Saleh is going down with the ZW ship makes me think the orders are coming from the top.

Its like the Jets want to torture us.

If Cobb catches that ball the narrative tomorrow in the media would be so much different at 2-1

Awesome. We can stop hearing about DJ beating such a bad team now. Cards proved today they are actually kind of decent, while simultaneously proving Dak isn’t as good as DJ.

It's hard to make make major proclamations after one game, but they arguably should be 3-0. They had leads against the Giants and Commanders. They were considered terrible before the season started and the "bumbling idiot" getting out of his own way to bring his team back from down 21 is a much more interesting narrative if they are the worst team ever. I've literally never seen a QB get more hate than Jones.

This is complete hyperbole & total bullshit. I'll give you one example from the same organization. Phil Simms, before he threw for 4000 yards in 1985, took way more shit than Jones ever has. Simms was actually benched for Scott f***ing Brunner. Jones has never had to worry about a short leash since Eli retired.

I call bullshit on you calling bullshit. Phil Simms was before my time but I don't believe there's any way a QB in the 80s would be criticized more than any controversial QB in the 2020s with social media, non-stop sporting news and podcasts, and a f*** ton of sports radio. Daniel Jones didn't have a backup who was worthy of ever getting benched for. It's like saying Eli didn't get shit because he didn't get benched for Jared Lorenzon.

Full stop. The newspapers actually had sports sections full of writers assigned to each team who weren't afraid to ask hard questions & putting tons of pressure on local athletes. There was a reason players in all sports back then despised playing in the NYC market...the media was ruthless. Sports radio was literally all over NY when Simms was playing. Now the papers are basically irrelevant...Jones can avoid social media & the idiots that go along with it pretty easily if he's not a sadist. Back then Simms was constantly reminded by all the writers & even more so by his coach that he was a bust. Every Monday for his first 3 seasons he was on the back page of every paper in the city. Then he would constantly be featured in NFL Films bloopers getting chewed out by Parcells or Ray Perkins. This went on for over 5 years until he finally broke out in '84.

BTW your Eli example is f***ing absurd. Eli received tons of well earned criticism and deserved to be benched plenty.
